The advantage of this is there is less off-gassing and obviously you can sleep on it right away. You also don’t need to strain your back getting it upstairs and around corners. My BeautyRest Black Original Findings
Overall I found this mattress to be on the firmer end of the spectrum. Although BeautyRest lists this as a medium I found it to be more of a medium-firm.
Although it is somewhat firm, it still contours well for side sleeping and if you like to sleep more on top of the mattress, as a side sleeper, this would be a good choice.
Another advantage of this mattress is that you can sleep right up to the edget without feeling like you will roll-off. I think this in part has to do with the foam encased border around the mattress. This is a rigid foam that provides great edge support for sleeping and putting on your shoes!
What stood out most for me was that this mattress can’t easily be classified as just a spring or foam or even a hybrid mattress. The T3 Coil System seems very durable and firm and provides an excellent base for the foam layers above. What you get is a mattress that initially feels firm but still provides good pressure relief. This means you get the support that foam alone just can’t provide. Simmons invented the pocket coil and I think they saved the best for the Beautyrest line.
I recommend this mattress mostly for stomach, back and occasional side sleepers. Because it is firmer, you won’t sink into the mattress as much and won’t experience much heat retention either.
My BeautyRest Black Original Recommendation
A BeautyRest Black is the premier offering from Simmons and you get all of their best technology. I expect this mattress to have a longer lifespan than many of the online offerings on the market and for that reason, I think the cost is justified. The firmer coil system is something I haven’t experienced in most of the online brands either so you are getting superior support. Sleepers looking for a firmer mattress, that doesn’t sleep hot and will support heavier people should take a look at this mattress.

Instead of simply bringing sheets to market, she aspires to create a sense of home with an entire collection of bedding using Italian fabrics that are sewn in the USA. This company takes a direct-to-consumer model that limits markups that traditional retailers charge and passes those savings on to you. I received a free set of their Madison collection sheets in a sateen weave for review.
Overview of 10 Grove
10 Grove sheets are available exclusively through their website. Aside from their sateen weave, you can also choose a percale weave as well as other styles including the Mercer, Irving and Hudson. I was given a free set of the Madison style sheets in a sateen weave for review. This style does not have any banding like the other styles. According to their website, 10 Grove sheets can be returned, within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unwashed, unused, and undamaged–and include the original packaging. Returns will be refunded in the original payment form, minus shipping and handling fees that may have been charged.Â
After you place your order, your sheets will arrive in a box like the one below. 1o Grove gets high marks for presentation and these would make an excellent gift as the wrapping is just about done for you and they are a pleasure to unbox.
Inside the box, you will find that each piece is packaged in a French envelope which is a nice touch and really gives you a luxury experience right off the bat.
You also get a cloth bag which I assume would be used to keep the sheets when not in use. I advise having 2 sets of sheets so that you can use one while you launder the other set. Having a cloth storage bag allows them to breathe. I never store my sheets in plastic containers.
Each piece is folded neatly in the envelopes. You can also find the 10 Grove logo on each piece which looks great but it is also useful when trying to match sets. My linen closet fills up quickly so being able to identify these sheets from the rest quickly, makes life just a little easier.

My 10 Grove Sheets Findings
Right out of the box I noticed that the stitching was extremely well done. These are light and airy sheets. Here’s a photo showing some of the border along a pillow case.
Each envelope has a tag like the one below describing its contents.
The fitted sheet is over 15 inches deep so it will accommodate just about all mattresses. Anything more than this and you risk the sheet not fitting tightly on the mattress.
You also get a card showing you how to use the bedding. You would think that’s obvious but 10 Grove places their label in certain places to you know which is the short end of the fitted sheet and where to orient your duvet cover. Making your bed becomes just a little less frustrating.
10 Grove also offers care instructions. Often people gloss over these and wash bed sheets like their normal laundry. Bad idea. If you use hot water and fabric softeners it can ruin the feel of the sheets so make sure to stick to the recommendations to fully enjoy your bedding. I would suggest washing it on cold for the first few cycles then you can switch to warm but I advise against hot and avoid using bleach. You should also be careful not to over-dry the sheets as this can make them feel scratchy.

10 Grove added a zipper to the bottom of their duvet cover. I prefer this over a button as it just makes the bottom look neater and it is easier than buttoning and unbuttoning each time you want to wash it.
In case you forget, they also include the wash instructions on the duvet. You can also see that there is a loop in each corner of the duvet cover to tie your duvet. This is the best method for securing the duvet insert. I have used clips and buttons in the past and they always come loose eventually.
My 10 Grove Recommendation
I am really impressed with the presentation of the 10 Grove Sheets. It was fun to unbox each piece and appreciate all the detail. They have done a wonderful job with the look and construction. What most important with any couch or bed is how it feels. Obviously this is best used as a couch and it feels like a quality leather sofa. As you can see, the arms can be adjusted up or down, when both arms are up, the sofa functions more as a love seat. I’m 6’3 so I make the sofa look a little small.

What I like most about the Bearaby is that it feels like I am laying under a giant knit sweater. This blanket is breathable but heavy enough to provide the benefits of a weighted blanket. It looks stylish and when I’m not using it, the blanket doesn’t look out of place on my couch or bed.
The blanket isn’t meant to entirely cover your body like a normal bed blanket, instead, it functions more like a throw.
Since this is knit you can stretch out the blanket a bit. I wouldn’t advise doing this too much but it illustrates how breathable the blanket is without detracting from the benefits a weighted blanket provides. Most weighted blankets use glass beads that are box stitched into the inner chamber of the blanket.
Lastly, this blanket is machine washable. Inevitably it will get dirty over time with use and another benefit is that you can simply throw it in the wash and tumble dry on low. Conventional weighted blankets have an outer shell that can be washed but if you happen to spill and it penetrates into the inner chamber, it can be difficult to clean.

Bearaby has quickly become one of my favorite weighted blankets. It actually a nice conversation piece. I get compliments on its looks but people are really impressed that it provides extra functionality. Between the Classic Napper and Tree Napper, I would advise people that tend to sleep hot to go with the Tree Napper but the difference is fairly minimal and you should really go with your preferred color.

Instead, the sheets were tied up with ribbon and labels, and the duvet was done up in the same fashion below it.
Both parts of the Ferry Collection are woven together using a 300 thread count organic cotton Sateen weave. The tags break down the contents of each package—the sheets come with a fitted, a flat, and two pillow cases, while the duvet comes with a duvet cover and two pillow shams—and focused on the Fair Trade nature of the collection.
My Ferry Collection Findings
I ran the sheets through the washing machine on cold, and through the dryer on low heat. The seams remained strong after the wash, and the fitted sheet only shrunk by 0.15 inches, which is quite solid for a set of cotton sheets.
Just like Cloudten’s and Gryphon’s Sateen cotton sheets, Eli & Elm’s Ferry Collection has “TOP OR BOTTOM” tags sewn into the short sides, which—despite being written in a horrendous shade of orange—are an extremely helpful design feature that I love.
The fitted sheet is tight and grips my mattress well, and the flat sheet is the correct size for a queen-size bed—I have no struggle tucking in the sheets and making it in the morning.
The duvet has strong wooden buttons and ties to hold a duvet in, which work very well, but I find the buttons to be a bit small for comfortable fiddling—I much prefer the buttons on the MagicLinen duvet that are twice as large.
