Brooklyn Bedding Signature Hybrid: buying guide
The Brooklyn Bedding Signature Hybrid combines foam comfort layers with individually encased coils. It suits shoppers who want a responsive hybrid feel with a choice of Soft, Medium or Firm comfort and an optional Cloud pillow-top upgrade, rather than the same feel in every size.
Quick guidance: Start with Medium for balanced cushioning and support; consider Soft if you want more shoulder and hip cushioning, or Firm if you prefer a flatter, less-sinking surface. Body weight, sleep position and individual preference affect how any mattress feels.
Which firmness is best for you?
- Soft: A more cushioned option often preferred by side sleepers and people who like a gentler sleep surface.
- Medium: A middle-ground choice for combination sleepers and couples balancing different comfort preferences.
- Firm: More pushback for sleepers who dislike sinkage, including many back and stomach sleepers.
- Cloud pillow top: Adds cushioning and changes the profile; evaluate this upgrade separately from firmness.
Construction and mattress height
- Type: Foam-and-coil hybrid with individually encased Ascension X coils.
- Support: Manufacturer describes an 8-inch coil unit and 3.5 inches of comfort foam, designed for support with some contouring.
- Height: Current manufacturer specification is 13.25 inches without the optional pillow top, or 14 inches with it. Previous Signature generations had different heights.
- Cooling: A cooling-oriented cover, copper-infused foam and the open coil core help the construction ventilate. Actual temperature comfort depends on the sleeper and bedding.
