This is Yawnder’s master Helix review and model guide for broad searches such as Helix mattress review or Helix reviews. Pick a feel family first, then Core, Luxe or Elite; use the linked model reviews below for individual testing and verdicts.
Helix Core

Start here if you already know your preferred Helix feel and want the lowest-cost version of that comfort family.
Helix Luxe

The most sensible step-up for many shoppers: taller build, upgraded comfort materials and zoned support without going all the way to Elite.
Helix Elite

Choose Elite when you specifically want the deepest, most elaborate Helix construction—not simply because it sits at the top of the lineup.
How to choose your Helix comfort family
Start with how you sleep rather than the price tier. Side sleepers usually gravitate toward Sunset or Midnight, while back and stomach sleepers often prefer Dusk, Twilight or Dawn depending on how much firmness they want. Moonlight is the softer back/stomach option. Once the feel family makes sense, then decide whether Core, Luxe or Elite is worth the upgrade.
What changes from Core to Luxe to Elite?
Core is the simplest version and usually the best value. Luxe adds a taller profile, upgraded comfort layers and zoned support, making it the most balanced step-up for shoppers who want more pressure relief and a more substantial build. Elite adds even more height and complexity. It can feel more luxurious, but the higher price does not automatically make it a better fit.
When Luxe is the sweet spot
For many shoppers, Luxe is where Helix gives you the clearest upgrade without paying for the full Elite construction. It is especially worth considering if you want a taller mattress, more cushioning around the shoulders and hips, or stronger zoning through the middle of the bed. If you already like a simpler feel and are price-sensitive, Core may still be the smarter choice.
Who should skip Elite?
Skip Elite if you are mainly paying more because it is the top tier. The extra materials make sense for shoppers who specifically want a deeper, more layered mattress and are comfortable with the added cost. If your priority is value, easier movement or a lower-profile bed, Core or Luxe will often make more sense.
Sunset, Midnight, Twilight, Moonlight, Dusk and Dawn describe the comfort profile. Core, Luxe and Elite describe how far you want to upgrade that profile.
