This page lists what is inside every current Helix mattress (Current Helix redesign, 2025–): 22 models across 4 lines (Core, Luxe, Elite, Kids). Every thickness, density, IFD and coil-gauge figure is a manufacturer or technical-source specification with its source kept on record; Yawnder’s own lab scores appear in separate columns and are never mixed into the construction data. 20 of the 22 models have been through our standardized test (methodology). Specifications verified current through 2026-09-10.

How to read the estimated columns
Two columns are marked est. These are experimental values calculated by Yawnder from the construction data alone: Firmness (est.) uses the IFD/ILD of the comfort and transition layers (density is deliberately not used as a firmness input), and Durability (est.) uses foam density, coil gauge and layer thickness. They exist so you can see where a build’s numbers point — they are not test results, they do not feed the Yawnder Score, and where we have a measured figure the measured figure wins. The model is currently calibrated on Helix only, so treat the estimates as directional.
Every construction figure keeps its source. Direct manufacturer data outranks technical secondary sources; when two sources disagree we show the manufacturer number and note the disagreement rather than averaging or picking silently. 36 such disagreements are flagged in the layer stacks above.
FAQ
Which Helix mattress has the densest comfort foam?
On published specs, the Helix Dawn Elite lists the densest comfort-layer foam at 7 PCF. Higher density indicates more material per cubic foot and usually slower softening; it does not indicate firmness.
Does a thicker Helix mattress mean a firmer one?
No. Height mostly reflects extra comfort or transition layers. Firmness is set by the IFD/ILD of the top layers and how the coil unit is gauged and zoned, which is why two Helix models with the same height can sit at opposite ends of the firmness scale.
Are these specifications measured by Yawnder?
No. Construction specifications are manufacturer or technical-source figures with their provenance on record. Yawnder’s measured columns (firmness, pressure relief, cooling, motion, edge, durability) come from our standardized test in the Encinitas showroom and are kept separate.
Can I try these mattresses in person?
