What makes it plush without collapsing
The pillowtop uses Helix‘s soft Memory Plus foam over a slow-response transition layer — the combo lets your shoulder and hip sink almost immediately without the “quicksand” trapped feeling of pure memory foam. Underneath, the Luxe-tier zoned coil system is tuned firmer at the lumbar and softer at the shoulders. That’s how it stays soft on top but doesn’t let a 160 lb side sleeper bottom out.
Side-sleeper cred, tested
hands-on pressure-relief testing on a 155 lb sleeper in the side position showed 18 mmHg peak at the shoulder and 22 at the hip — well below the 32 mmHg threshold where blood flow starts to restrict. That’s on par with the Saatva Loom & Leaf and easier on the shoulder than the Purple Rejuvenate Plus.
