Helix Twilight Luxe Review: The Firm End of Helix‘s Premium Line
The Twilight Luxe is Helix‘s Luxe-tier build tuned firmer than any other Luxe. If you’re a back or stomach sleeper who wanted the Twilight but with a real pillowtop, better coils, and a five-zone support system, this is the one.

Quick take
- Best for: Back and stomach sleepers 150–250 lb who want a firm premium hybrid
- Feel: Firm (~7.5/10)
- Height: 13.5 inches
- Price: ~$2,373 queen at 25% off (MSRP ~$3,164)
- Trial / warranty: 100 nights / 15 years
How the Twilight Luxe is built
Top: quilted pillowtop with a breathable Tencel cover. Under that, Helix‘s Memory Plus foam for pressure relief. Below that, a transition layer of high-density polyfoam, then the Luxe-tier zoned coil unit — 1,000+ individually wrapped coils tuned firmer at the lumbar and softer at the shoulders. The base is 1″ high-density support foam. The GlacioTex cooling cover upgrade is standard on Luxe.

Feel — where it lands on the Helix scale
Straight Twilight (the entry-tier) is a firm 7/10. Twilight Luxe pushes to 7.5 with more surface support from the zoned coils, but the pillowtop softens the immediate contact by half a step. Net effect: your hips stay lifted, your lumbar gets active push-back, and your shoulders don’t feel a hard slab. Stomach sleepers get proper spinal alignment without the “sinking into quicksand” feel that plagues softer premium hybrids.
Twilight Luxe vs Twilight vs Twilight Elite
Pros
- Firmest premium option in the Helix line — no other Luxe or Elite is this supportive
- Zoned lumbar support solves the #1 problem stomach sleepers have with hybrids
- Copper-infused memory foam pulls heat sideways instead of trapping it
- GlacioTex cover included at the Luxe tier (Elite upgrade)
- 15-year warranty vs 10 on the base Twilight
Cons
- Overkill for anyone under 140 lb — you won’t compress the coils enough to benefit
- Not for strict side sleepers — shoulder pressure will build after 20 minutes
- MSRP is high; only buy on 20%+ promos (Helix runs them almost monthly)

Who should skip it
Side sleepers, anyone under 140 lb, and shoppers who want a plush hotel feel. Look at the Midnight Luxe or Moonlight Luxe instead. Heavy combo sleepers should compare against the Twilight Elite, which adds premium PCM cooling and taller coils but costs ~$800 more.
Common questions
