Purple Rejuvenate Ultimate Review: Grid + Pillowtop = Purple‘s Plushest
The Rejuvenate Ultimate is what happens when Purple asks: ‘what if the grid, but hotel-plush?’ A quilted pillowtop sits above the GelFlex Grid, which sits above wrapped coils. It’s the softest way Purple sells the grid, and it’s the closest their lineup gets to a Saatva Zenhaven feel.

Quick take
- Best for: Side sleepers under 200 lb who want luxury plush + grid pressure relief.
- Feel: Medium-soft (~4.5/10) — plush pillowtop with grid response beneath
- Height: 13.5 inches
- Price: ~$3,999 queen
- Trial / warranty: 100 nights / 10 years
Does the pillowtop break the grid?
No — that was our first concern. The pillowtop is thin (about 1″), so shoulder pressure still reaches the grid and triggers the buckling behavior. What the pillowtop does is soften the initial contact — the ‘firm slap’ some people describe on the standard Purple is gone. Best of both worlds if you like plush.

Pros & cons
Pros
- Plushest Purple you can buy
- Still gets full grid pressure-relief
- Excellent cooling for a pillowtop build
- Handles side sleepers with shoulder pain beautifully
Cons
- $3,999 queen is flagship pricing
- Too soft for stomach sleepers
- Pillowtop compresses over years — may soften further
Verdict
The Rejuvenate Ultimate is the pick for buyers who want a Saatva Zenhaven or Tempur-LuxeAdapt Soft feel but sleep too hot for those beds. Grid cooling + plush pillowtop is a combination no one else sells.
