How does the cushioned top feel?
Our earlier review described a cushioned top that softened initial contact while leaving the responsive grid noticeable underneath. Purple says the 2025 Rejuvenate models replaced the 2023 quilted Euro top with DreamLayer. The tested sample’s generation was not recorded, so this observation may not describe the current construction.
What to know before buying
Construction: Purple describes the current Ultimate as a 17.5-inch hybrid with a DreamLayer top, stacked 3-inch and 2-inch GelFlex Grid layers, Active Response+ foam and an 8-inch coil system. That is a taller and more layered design than the standard Rejuvenate or RejuvenatePlus.
Feel and performance: The existing test record rates firmness 5/10, pressure relief 9.3/10, motion isolation 8.6/10, edge support 8.6/10 and temperature 9.4/10. These are scores for the tested sample, not guarantees for every sleeper. The cushioned feel may appeal to side sleepers; stomach sleepers and those who want a flatter, firmer surface should compare other options.
Size and setup: Purple lists the queen as 60 by 80 by 17.5 inches and 246 pounds. Measure doorways, total bed height and sheet-pocket depth, and arrange help moving it. Purple advertises in-home setup for Rejuvenate orders; confirm availability and any fees for your delivery location.
Value: Purple’s queen price was $8,799 when checked October 29, 2026. Compare it with the RejuvenatePlus and Rejuvenate at current checkout prices. Five years at $8,799 is about $4.82 per night before taxes or delivery; this is an illustration, not a prediction of lifespan.
