Diamond Flurry Lux Review: A 14-Inch Graphene Cooling Hybrid With a Euro Top
The Flurry Lux is Diamond Mattress’ cooling euro-top hybrid: a Cool Stream Lux cover over graphene-infused foam, sitting on a foam-encased pocketed coil unit, in a 14-inch build offered in two firmnesses. Yawnder carries it, so this review is written from Diamond’s published build sheet, our own product data and our hands-on time with the neighbouring Diamond models on our floor.

How the layers are supposed to work
The cooling story here has two halves. The Cool Stream Lux face fabric handles the first few seconds of contact — the cool-to-the-touch sensation you feel when you sit down — while the graphene-infused memory foam underneath is meant to keep moving heat out of the sleep surface once you have settled. Graphene is a genuinely conductive filler, so the mechanism is real; how much difference it makes over a full night is exactly the kind of claim we hold back on until we can measure surface temperature ourselves.
Structurally it is a conventional, well-proven build: a plush quilted euro top for entry comfort, memory foam for contour, then a foam-encased pocketed coil unit doing the support and motion-control work. The pocketed coils are why a bed this cushioned can still feel responsive, and the foam rail around the outside is what keeps the perimeter usable rather than collapsing when you sit on the edge. Medium or Firm: which one to order
Both feels use the same 14-inch platform, so the choice is about how much of the euro top you want to sink into. Medium is the one to order if you sleep on your side or switch positions, because the euro top has enough give to let the shoulder and hip drop in. Firm makes more sense for back and stomach sleepers who want to stay on top of the bed, and for heavier sleepers who tend to bottom out a plusher comfort layer. There is no zoned coil unit here, so lumbar support comes from the overall firmness choice rather than a firmer centre third — worth knowing if zoning is something you have been shopping for.

Who it fits
Buy it if you sleep warm, want the cushioned entry feel of a euro top, and would rather buy a US-built bed with a 20-year warranty than a compressed-in-a-box import. Look elsewhere if you specifically want zoned lumbar support, if you need published density and coil specs before you commit, or if you want a low-profile bed — at 14 inches plus a foundation, this one sits tall and needs deep-pocket sheets.

Common questions
Can I try the Flurry Lux at the Yawnder showroom? Not currently — the Flurry Lux is not one of the Diamond models on our Encinitas floor, though we do have other Diamond builds, including the Lux Quilted Hybrid, set up to lie on. Call us at 858-232-5760 before you drive out if you want to check what is on the floor that day.
Does it work on an adjustable base? Yes. Diamond states the Flurry Lux is compatible with platforms, slatted bases, box springs and adjustable bases.
What trial applies if I buy it from Yawnder? Our own policy: a 100-night mattress trial with a required 30-night adjustment period, returns subject to a $200 return/processing fee, and no fee on exchanges.
