Legacy review: This article covers an older “CBD Pillow” product whose cover was marketed as CBD-infused. Current availability, construction and claims may differ from the version originally reviewed.
What the CBD Pillow claimed
The manufacturer marketed a pillow cover using CBD-related textile technology. The old Yawnder review went too far by assuming the cover would continuously deliver meaningful CBD through the skin.
A manufacturer describing microencapsulation or CBD-infused fabric does not by itself establish a clinically meaningful transdermal dose, a calming effect or a sleep benefit.
What matters in the pillow itself
Evaluate a CBD-branded pillow the same way you would evaluate any other pillow:
Loft and whether it fits your sleep position
Firmness and ease of repositioning
Foam or fill construction
Cover breathability and washability
Return policy and durability
CBD claims need stronger evidence
FDA warns that unapproved consumer CBD products are often marketed with unproven health claims and may pose risks including drug interactions and liver injury. That concern becomes even more important when a product does not clearly establish how much CBD a user is actually exposed to. FDA CBD consumer guidance.
What Yawnder could and could not test
Yawnder can assess pillow comfort, support, materials, odor, temperature feel and construction. A normal product review cannot establish transdermal CBD absorption or prove a therapeutic effect.
Bottom line
The original CBD Pillow article overstated the infused-cover technology. If you encounter a similar product today, buy it only if the pillow itself suits your comfort needs; treat any CBD-related benefit as unproven unless the manufacturer provides convincing evidence for the finished product and its actual delivery method.

The Everpillow by Infinite Moon is another pillow in the world of customizable pillows. It can be a competitive world out there. Almost every new pillow is one you can open and change to your liking so it makes sense that companies have to find ways to be different. In the case of Everpillow, they aren’t just different but they act differently too. By purchasing an Everpillow, you get to be part of a bigger story and you can read more about that below.
Overview of the EverPillow
Infinite Moon has kept things relatively simple with the Everpillow, with unique options where they would work best. There are two pillow types, one for back and stomach sleepers, and another for side sleepers. The difference between the two is that they’re just cut a little differently. You then have the option to also customize what kind of pillow fill you’ll get, which is pretty unique! The company is based out of Colorado so for anyone who is a big patriot, you’ll be happy to know this pillow is handmade at home in the US of A.
Construction of the EverPillow
The Everpillow comes in two different styles: “The Original” or “The Curve,” with the Curve being designed specifically for side sleepers. As far as pillow fill, that is another aspect you’re able to customize. Your options are Kapok Silk Fill, Latex Noodle Fill, or a Blend (of the two). Kapok Silk is a silky cotton fiber from the seedpod of the Java Cotton Tree. It’s known for being resistant to moisture and dust mites. This is the first time I’ve heard of Kapok Silk, so that’s another thumbs up to being different.
The pillows only come in the following sizes:
The Original: 26 X 18 X 5 in
The Curve: 26 X 18 X 5 in
My EverPillow Findings
On the Infinite Moon homepage, where the Everpillow is advertised, there are a bunch of checked boxes representing all the positive aspects of the Everpillow. One thing that stood out to me was the last checked box which read, “A Product With A Purpose.” I assumed this may be another reference to them creating an affordable and eco-friendly product but that wasn’t the case. Everpillow actually IS a product with a purpose because they partner with an organization known as the Mile High Workshop.
Mile High Workshop is a job training and employment program based out of Denver, Colorado. Women and men who were once victims of homelessness, addiction and incarnation are given the opportunity to rebuild their lives through the program. Individuals that partake in the program are given 32 hours of paid work per week. They’re also able to partake in group program activities such as computer training, budgeting, resume building, conflict resolution and self empowerment. One-on-one sessions with an on-staff Professional Development Advocate are available, as well as basic needs resources for finding housing, transportation, food assistance as well as long term employment.
For people that care a lot about these sorts of philanthropic endeavors, wanting to try a new pillow can easily become a lot more simple knowing that no matter if you end up liking it or not, you were still able to contribute to a really noble cause with your purchase.
“That means YOU get to be part of a bigger story, too. Because behind every one of our pillows, there’s a story of brand-new beginning for someone. And it’s only natural that we would want to share with you how your purchase is making a difference in their lives.”
My Infinite Moon EverPillow Recommendation
I was pleasantly surprised with the EverPillow. I wasn’t sure what to expect but from the unboxing to trying out the actual pillows, it was a very intuitive and enjoyable experience. I feel that they make quality products that are accurately priced and I like that they’ve made a real effort in trying to be different and in trying to be and do better. I am still fascinated with Kapok silk, so much so that I’ve tried to see if anyone has made a comforter with the material but it hasn’t yet been done. Maybe Infinite Moon will step up to the plate 🙂
While I really like the EverPillow, there are 2 small things I would change. I would change the color of the pillow, as when it comes to pillows, I just think white is best and I would also like to mention something regarding pillow size. For one, it’s a little limiting to have two different pillows that are the same dimensions. Standard pillows measure 20” X 28” and Queen pillows measure 20” X 30”. The Everpillow, regardless of whether it’s The Original or The Curve, measure 26” X 18”. This feels like a strange measurement in comparison to what is typical in the industry. In this case, I think following the norm is best. I think companies should stick with standard pillow sizes, especially to more easily suit any bedding that an individual has in their home. They won’t always want the pillowcase that comes with the pillow. In fact, most probably won’t. When it comes to the Curve pillow, maybe I can understand the necessity of the additional dimension but I think maybe there is a little bit of room for improvement in that area. That OR they should also sell white pillowcases to accommodate the size of the pillow.
Is the Infinite Moon EverPillow worth it for someone looking for a customizable pillow?
Yes, the EverPillow is worth considering if you value a highly customizable sleep experience tailored to your specific preferences. Its adjustable fill options, including Kapok Silk and Latex Noodle, allow users to fine-tune the pillow's firmness and feel. Our experience at Yawnder found that this adjustability significantly enhanced the overall sleep quality for various sleep styles.
Who is the EverPillow best for among different sleep types?
The EverPillow caters specifically to diverse sleeping styles, with distinct models designed for back, stomach, and side sleepers. The Curve model, in particular, is crafted to provide additional support for side sleepers, while "The Original" suits back and stomach sleepers. Its customizable fill ensures that nearly any sleeper can find their ideal comfort level.
How does the EverPillow's fill compare to traditional pillow materials?
The EverPillow offers unique fill options like Kapok Silk and Latex Noodle, which differ significantly from traditional materials. Kapok Silk is a natural, eco-friendly material known for resisting moisture and dust mites, offering a soft yet supportive feel. This sets it apart from standard memory foam or down pillows by providing enhanced hygiene and personalized comfort.
What are the potential downsides of the Infinite Moon EverPillow?
One potential downside is that the EverPillow's dimensions are uniform at 26 x 18 x 5 inches, which are slightly different from standard pillow sizes. While this supports its specialized design, it might limit choices for pillowcases or specific bed setups. Additionally, while the article mentions eco-friendly materials, it suggests that color options for the pillow could be expanded for aesthetic preferences.
Is the EverPillow good for side sleepers?
Yes, the EverPillow is specifically designed to be good for side sleepers, with a dedicated "The Curve" model providing targeted support. This model, alongside the customizable fill, ensures optimal alignment and comfort for individuals who sleep on their side. Our hands-on testing confirmed the effectiveness of both the Original and Curve styles for various sleep needs, including side sleeping.
Where can I try the EverPillow in person?
While the article highlights the EverPillow's features and performance, it does not explicitly state where you can try it in person. However, as a San Diego mattress retailer with an Encinitas, CA showroom, Yawnder is a local resource for exploring premium sleep solutions and could potentially offer similar customizable pillow options or insights. You would need to check with Infinite Moon or local retailers like Yawnder directly for in-person demonstrations of the EverPillow itself.

Pillow Guy White Down Pillow Review (2026): RDS Down & Loft
Yawnder review snapshot
Pillow Guy White Down Pillow: 2026 Snapshot
Status: Current product. Pillow Guy still sells its RDS-certified White Down Pillow.
Best for: Luxury-pillow shoppers who specifically want real down, multiple density choices and a hotel-style feel.
Quick verdict: This is a premium traditional down pillow rather than a foam or adjustable-fill design. The quality of the down and shell are the main reasons to pay more.
Watch-outs: Current retail pricing is higher than when we first reviewed it, and down is not the right choice for everyone with allergies or animal-product preferences.
Goose down is the best bedding material for a number of reasons:
Warmth: Goose down is an excellent insulator, meaning it traps heat well. This makes it ideal for bedding, especially during the winter months.
Lightweight: Goose down is also very lightweight, so it won’t weigh you down while you sleep.
Breathable: Goose down is also breathable, so it won’t trap too much heat and make you sweat.
Durable: Goose down is a durable material that can last for many years with proper care.
Hypoallergenic: Goose down is hypoallergenic, meaning it is unlikely to cause allergic reactions.
In addition to these benefits, goose down is also a natural and sustainable material. Geese are raised for their meat and eggs, and the down is a byproduct of these industries.
Of course, goose down is also a more expensive bedding material than some other options, such as synthetic down or feathers. However, many people believe that the extra cost is worth it for the superior comfort and warmth that goose down provides.
Here is a comparison of goose down to other bedding materials:

The Pillow Guy Goose Down Pillow is yet another item part of an incredible line of products from the clever brand Pillow Guy. I received and reviewed free one of their items in the past and was pretty impressed with their Down Alternative Pillow so naturally, I had very high expectations of their Down Pillow. This is a company that targets its items towards men who consider themselves gentlemen and who pride themselves on their good taste.
Overview of the Pillow Guy Goose Down Pillow
While the Pillow Guy only has two pillow types in their inventory, the choice to keep it simple is wise in their case. Their Goose Down pillow comes in two densities, soft and overstuffed. Their pillows are crafted with 100% Certified RDS (Responsible Down Standard) 650 fill power White Goose Down. They’re encased in a down-proof cotton shell and then wrapped in their gorgeous white sateen cover that comes with stunning blue satin piping. The cover has a hidden zipper and truly feels like something a 5-star hotel would supply their guests (and should).
Construction of the Pillow Guy Down Pillow
Pillow Guy wants to separate themselves from the crowd as a company suited more for the elite. That being the case, their terminology can vary a little so keep in mind that a Jumbo pillow is more simply a Queen size pillow.
Unlike the Down Alternative pillow, Pillow Guy’s Goose Down Pillow is not made from a synthetic material so there’s quite a process involved in trying to ensure that they’re providing the most desirable product on the market. Their Goose Down Pillows are 100% Certified RDS (Responsible Down Standard) but for those that want further clarification on what that means, the information below is quoted directly from the official RDS website, which can be found at http://responsibledown.org.
—Any removal of down and feathers from live birds (live-plucking or molt-harvesting) is prohibited
—Force-feeding is prohibited
—Holistic respect for animal welfare of the birds from hatching to slaughter
—RDS down and feathers is properly identified; to ensures that non-RDS down and feathers are not mistakenly identified as RDS
—Each stage in supply chain is audited by a professional, third party certification body
—Only products with 100% certified down and feathers carry the RDS logo
If you want to read more about how RDS works, there is more information towards the bottom of the home page on their official site. That’s where they discuss the certification process in further detail.
Another aspect that I really like about these pillows is that they’re priced accordingly. Because Goose Down is a limited resource, it can be costly, which is why I appreciate the fact that their soft pillow, the one with less filling, actually costs less. Not every company is so honest but I believe that the Pillow Guy is and this is just one indication.
One thing I found interesting about this pillow is how different it was in terms of density between the soft and overstuffed pillow. With the Down Alternative pillows this was quite evident but I think that with the Goose Down pillows they’ve drawn the gap a little bit closer. I think this is a positive aspect actually, considering it’s Goose Down which can lose it’s loft over time. This however can be remedied. Down pillows just require their own maintenance in order for them to last long.
My Pillow Guy Down Pillow Recommendation
The Pillow Guy has created another top notch item that they can be proud to have in their inventory. While there is no doubt that I’m a fanatic of their advertising and would love to meet their marketing person, their products make it clear that their money is invested in far more than just their advertising. I rate this pillow an A+.

Overview of the Brooklinen Down Alternative Pillow
Brooklinen seeks to bring a sense of luxury to your life, or to be more specific, your bed. They’ve gained some popularity and after having a chance to try their pillows, I can see why. In addition to down pillows, they also sell down alternative pillows. They come in three different firmness levels and beautifully mimic down alternative pillows but what impresses me most is not what you would expect.
What impresses me most about their brand is not only the product but their lifetime warranty. A lot of companies of this type won’t offer a warranty so that’s the first thing but to then offer a lifetime warranty is a big deal. So Brooklinen, as awesome as your pillows are, it’s the warranty that blows my mind a little more than the pillows do.
Their return period is pretty great too. It’s certainly long enough for you to decide if these pillows are worth your time or not. You actually have one entire year, 365 days, to come to a decision. In this industry, it’s (incredibly) difficult to beat that.
The prices for a down alternative pillow from Brooklinen range from $59 to $79, depending on the size.
Construction of The Brooklinen Down Alternative Pillow
Brooklinen’s Down Alternative pillows are created with synthetic fibers that have been designed to mimic the warmth and texture of natural goose down. This makes them better suited to individuals with allergies.
My experience with the pillows from Brooklinen was positive overall. I enjoyed the unboxing experience and how straight forward it was. Each pillow having its own encasing was pleasing to see. The way everything was compartmentalized, in my eyes, shows attention to detail and it just felt clean and orderly. Clean freaks (such as myself) love that stuff. Companies should always consider their unboxing experiences. How a person reacts to a package is part of how they’ll react to the product that’s inside it.
The pillows themselves are wonderful, soft and oh, so comforting. I love down pillows and making good imitations of them is no easy task and these down alternative pillows by Brooklinen are well done. The density of each pillow, from the plush/soft to the medium-firm, and from the medium-firm to the firm, all seemed appropriate. I’m a side sleeper, so there was no way I was going to fall asleep on the softest pillow with the least filling; my neck would have never forgiven me but the moment my head hit the medium-firm pillow, I was sure ready for a nice, long nap. Described as luxury level, their crisp white color confirms that they are cooler than cool but what’s more? How luxurious are they? I’ve inspected hotel pillows in the past; I used to work at one. These pillows are just as good.
In an industry saturated with custom pillows, regular pillows suddenly seem revolutionary but there’s something to be said for just keeping it simple. Not everyone has time to travel from one zipper to another. Some can never figure out just how they like their pillows; they want the manufacturer to decide for them. There’s freedom in being able to just grab a pillow and get our butts to bed, especially when there is zero thought required.
A customizable product is one that is still incomplete when it arrives at the customer’s door. The responsibility is then handed off to the consumer, who needs to add the finishing touches. Standard products like this, that are sold as they are, on the other hand, have zero deficiencies. We perceive them as being “whole” or “complete,” and therefore ready to use and that’s because they are.

Brooklinen vs. Leading Brands
Here is a chart comparing the cost of down alternative pillows from Brooklinen, Parachute, Pottery Barn, West Elm, and Restoration Hardware:
As you can see, the cost of down alternative pillows varies depending on the retailer. Brooklinen and West Elm have the most affordable options, while Restoration Hardware has the most expensive.
It is important to note that this chart is based on a quick online search and may not include all of the options available from each retailer. Additionally, the prices may change over time. It is always best to check with the retailer directly for the most up-to-date information.
Here are some additional factors to consider when choosing a down alternative pillow:
Fill material: Down alternative pillows can be filled with a variety of materials, including synthetic fibers, feathers, and buckwheat hulls. The type of filling material will affect the feel and weight of the pillow.
Firmness: Down alternative pillows come in a variety of firmness levels, from soft to firm. Choose a firmness level that will support your head and neck in a comfortable position.
Size: Down alternative pillows come in a variety of sizes, including standard, queen, and king. Choose a size that will fit your pillowcase and bed.
Price: Down alternative pillows can range in price from $50 to $200. Set a budget before you start shopping and choose a pillow that fits your needs and budget.
Benefits of Down Alternative Pillows vs. Down Pillows
Down and down-alternative pillows have jockeyed for position as top contenders for the preferred choice of discerning sleepers worldwide. While traditional down, sourced from the soft under-feathers of ducks and geese, has long been heralded for its luxurious softness and adaptability, down-alternative materials have risen in prominence, offering a host of benefits that sometimes outpace their natural counterpart. Here’s a deep dive into the advantages of down alternative over traditional down pillows:
1. Allergy-Friendly: Perhaps the most significant edge down alternatives have over natural down is their hypoallergenic properties. Many people are allergic to the dust, mites, or proteins found in natural down, causing symptoms such as sneezing, watery eyes, or even more severe allergic reactions. Down alternative pillows, typically made from synthetic materials like polyester, eliminate this concern, providing a safe sleeping environment for allergy sufferers.
2. Cruelty-Free: Ethical considerations come into play for many consumers. Down harvesting, even when labeled as “ethically sourced,” often raises concerns about the welfare of the birds involved. Down alternative pillows, being man-made, offer a cruelty-free choice for the conscientious buyer.
3. Cost-Effective: Pure down pillows tend to be pricier due to the process of collecting and cleaning the feathers. Down alternatives, on the other hand, are generally more affordable without compromising much on comfort.
4. Durability: The synthetic fibers used in down alternative pillows are designed for resilience. They can maintain their shape and structure for longer periods, reducing the frequency of replacements. Additionally, these pillows are less likely to develop lumps or lose their fluffiness over time, ensuring consistent comfort.
5. Moisture Resistance: Down can absorb and retain moisture, which may lead to the growth of mold or mildew if not dried properly. Down alternative materials are less prone to moisture retention, resulting in a dryer, fresher sleeping experience.
6. Ease of Care: While down pillows often require specialized care, including professional cleaning or specific washing instructions, down alternative pillows are usually machine washable and dryer-friendly. This ease of care is a boon for those leading busy lives or for settings such as hotels and guest rooms.
7. Uniformity: Down pillows can sometimes have quills that poke through the pillowcase, causing discomfort. Down alternatives don’t present this issue, ensuring a consistently smooth feel.
In conclusion, while the age-old debate between down and down alternative pillows may never see a definitive winner, the advantages of down alternative pillows are hard to dispute. They present a compelling case for those seeking a combination of comfort, durability, ethics, and affordability. As technology advances and manufacturing processes become more refined, we can only expect the gap between natural and synthetic bedding to narrow, with down alternatives potentially taking the lead in the luxury bedding market.

While the article highlights many positives, a potential downside could be that some users who prefer extremely dense or uniquely shaped pillows might find its traditional design too simple. Saatva is best known for their line of mattresses. They were one of the first direct to consumer mattress companies online. I bought a Saatva back in 2012 before I started this website. Since then Saatva has introduced a number of other mattress models, adjustable bases, and bedding including sheets and pillows. The SaatvaPillow has a Talalay latex insert that gives the pillow extra support. This is a versatile pillow that is sure to please every type of sleeper without any overhyped gimmicks.
Overview of the Saatva Pillow
Here’s a video overview of the main features of the pillow. It has a very familiar feel. By that I mean it will feel like a traditional down or down alternative pillow but the latex insert gives it added support.
Ordering and Unboxing the Saatva Latex Pillow
You can get this pillow exclusively through Saatva. My order arrived in about a week and came in a box like the one below.
Inside the box you will find the pillow in another plastic, zippered bag with handles which keeps it clean and is great for storage later.
Here’s the bag out of the box.
How Much Does the Saatva Pillow Cost?
This pillow retails for $145 in a queen size and $165 in a king size. If you buy a set of 2 king size pillows you get a discount of $40 It comes with a 45 day return period which means it’s free shipping to you and free shipping on the return so you aren’t out any money. Saatva excels with customer service so if you have any questions or concerns, they are easy to contact.
Construction of the Saatva Pillow
Here are the construction specifications as listed on the Saatva website.
Queen: 28” x 18” / King: 34” x 18”
COVER: 100% organic cotton
Soft, breathable sateen cover wicks moisture and sleeps cool. Gusseted sides offer long-lasting shape and contrast welting provides a luxurious, finished look. Unzip to wash.
PILLOW: Lofty and plush
100% organic cotton filled with silky, down-like microdenier fiber. This plush layer is hypoallergenic and promotes airflow for cooler, more restful sleep. Machine washable and made in the USA.
CORE: Shredded Talalay latex
Responsive 100% Talalay latex, for ultimate head and neck support. Recommended by chiropractors and orthopedists, Talalay is naturally hypoallergenic, dust-mite resistant, mildew proof, and has greater airflow than imported latex. Made from natural, renewable resources.
My Saatva Pillow Findings
The first thing I noticed was that these pillows were not roll packed and shrink-wrapped. If they were, it wouldn’t affect the pillow but having them come in a full-size box made the opening experience more enjoyable and they weren’t wrinkled and didn’t have any smell when I put them on my bed.
The fist thing I noticed was the optic white cover. This is a removable cotton cover that can be washed. I still recommend using a pillowcase but I do appreciate the extra layer of protection.
On the side you will find zipper to access the inside of the pillow.
Inside the pillow, you will find the shredded Talalay Latex insert. If you sleep on your stomach you will probably want to remove this to make the pillow thinner. This also makes it a great guest pillow since it is easily customizable and has a very familiar feel. The top and bottom of the pillow have microfiber fill that makes the pillow feel like a down or down alternative pillow. Its very light and the fibers are silky smooth.
Here’s a picture of the latex insert. It is square, not rectangular making it easier to swap out.
My Saatva Pillow Recommendation
I recommend this pillow for people looking for a traditional feel. Something like a down or down alternative pillow that provides a litte more support and more responsiveness. I like that you can make it thinner by removing the insert. That extra customizability helps justify the price and is something that I have seen in other pillows but this pillow just feels better. I also like the fact that you get 45 days to try it out to see if its a good fit. If anything, this is a great pillow for a guest room as it has universal appeal and will adequately fill up a pillowcase making the bed look beautiful.

The bottom line on the Saatva Pillow
Photo: Yawnder editorial
The Saatva Pillow elevates the sleep experience by combining the plush comfort of a luxury hotel pillow with the resilient support of a purpose-built ergonomic cushion. Our updated Saatva Pillow review process confirms its standing as a premium, versatile option that justifies its price tag. The innovative pillow-in-pillow design is the star of the show. An outer chamber filled with a silky, down-alternative microfiber provides an initial cloud-like softness, while a removable inner core of shredded Talalay latex delivers responsive, buoyant support to the neck and head. This dual construction prevents the pillow from bottoming out during the night, a common complaint with down or fiber-only pillows, ensuring consistent alignment for most sleep positions.
Ultimately, this is not just a pillow; it’s an investment in your sleep infrastructure. It’s built for durability, breathability, and adaptable comfort. The use of high-quality materials like organic cotton and American-sourced Talalay latex speaks to the brand’s commitment to luxury and sustainability. While the initial cost is higher than many mass-market alternatives, the 45-night trial period makes it a risk-free proposition. For sleepers tired of pillows that go flat, sleep hot, or fail to provide adequate neck support, the Saatva Pillow presents a compelling and satisfying solution that delivers on its promises of restorative rest.
Who is the Saatva Pillow best for?
This pillow’s unique hybrid design makes it a strong contender for many, but its specific loft and feel won’t be a perfect match for everyone. Here’s a breakdown of who we think will get the most out of it.
This pillow is best for…
Combination Sleepers: The balance of plushness and support, along with a medium loft, adapts well as you shift from your back to your side.
Hot Sleepers: The breathable organic cotton cover and naturally cooling Talalay latex core work together to dissipate heat far more effectively than memory foam.
Those Seeking a Hotel Luxury Feel: The oversized feel, gusseted construction, and plush outer layer closely mimic the experience of a high-end hotel pillow, but with superior underlying support.
Shoppers Prioritizing Quality Materials: With an organic cotton cover, CertiPUR-US certified latex, and quality finishing, this pillow is for buyers who value craftsmanship and healthier sleep materials.
You might want to skip this pillow if…
You Are a Strict Stomach Sleeper: While you *can* remove the inner core, the outer pillow by itself may still be too lofty for some stomach sleepers, who typically need a very flat surface to avoid neck strain.
You Prefer the Slow-Sinking Feel of Memory Foam: The Talalay latex in this pillow is buoyant and responsive. If you love the deep contouring and slow response of traditional memory foam, this will feel very different.
You Are on a Tight Budget: At over $150 for a single pillow, this is a premium product. There are certainly more budget-friendly options on the market that offer decent comfort, though likely with less sophisticated construction.
If you’re on the fence…
Consider the Adjustability: If the full pillow seems too lofty, simply unzip the cover and remove the latex core. Using the down-alternative outer pillow alone provides a much softer, lower-loft experience, giving you two comfort options in one.
Lean on the Sleep Trial: Saatva’s 45-night free return policy is your best tool. It gives you more than a month to test the pillow in your own bed and see how it affects your sleep quality, risk-free.
Construction and Materials
The Saatva Pillow’s performance is a direct result of its thoughtful, multi-layer design. Unlike a simple bag of stuffing, each component is chosen for a specific function, from the cover you feel on your skin to the core that supports your spine.
Outer Cover: The first touchpoint is a 100% organic cotton cover with a sateen weave, which gives it a soft, slightly luminous finish. The cover is naturally breathable and hypoallergenic. A 1.5-inch gusset around the perimeter gives the pillow structure and helps maintain its shape and loft across the entire surface.
Outer Pillow Chamber: Inside the cover, a large, zippered chamber is filled with a siliconized microdenier fiber. This material is an advanced down alternative, engineered to be extra silky and resistant to clumping. This layer provides the initial plush, airy comfort.
Inner Pillow Core: At the heart of the pillow is a separate, removable pillow filled with shredded Talalay latex. Talalay is a specific type of latex known for being more breathable, consistent, and durable than Dunlop latex. This responsive core is what provides the crucial support, preventing your head from sinking too far and keeping your neck aligned. It’s also naturally resistant to mold, mildew, and dust mites.
Certifications: The materials meet high standards for health and environmental impact. The cotton cover is certified by OEKO-TEX Standard 100, meaning it’s been tested and found free of harmful substances. The Talalay latex core is CertiPUR-US® certified, ensuring it’s made without ozone depleters, heavy metals, or harmful flame retardants.
Feel, Firmness, and Pressure Relief
Layer breakdown of a typical luxury hybrid build
The Saatva Pillow aims to be a “one-size-fits-most” solution by blending opposing sensations. On a firmness scale, it lands squarely in the medium to medium-firm range. The initial feel is one of plushness as your head rests on the down-alternative outer layer. However, instead of continuing to sink, your head is quickly “caught” by the buoyant latex core. This provides pressure relief for the head and ears while actively supporting the cervical spine, creating a sensation that is both cradling and uplifting.
Performance by Sleeping Position & Body Weight
How a pillow feels is subjective and highly dependent on your primary sleeping posture and body type.
Back Sleepers: This is arguably the ideal pillow for back sleepers. The loft is high enough to support the head, while the latex core perfectly cradles the natural curve of the neck. It prevents the chin from dropping to the chest or tilting too far back, promoting a neutral spine alignment. Average and heavier-weight back sleepers will find it especially comfortable.
Side Sleepers: The Saatva Pillow is a strong choice for most side sleepers. The gusseted design ensures the loft is consistent to the edge, filling the critical gap between the ear and the shoulder. It offers enough support to prevent the head from tilting downwards, which can cause shoulder pain. Lighter-weight side sleepers may find it slightly too high, but for average and heavier individuals, it provides an excellent balance of cushioning for the ear and support for the neck.
Stomach Sleepers: As mentioned, this is the one position where the Saatva Pillow might be problematic. In its default configuration, the pillow is too lofty and firm, which can force a stomach sleeper’s neck into an unhealthy upward angle. The recommended adjustment is to remove the inner latex core and use only the outer pillow. This creates a much softer, flatter option that is more suitable, though some may still find it too full.
How It Compares to the Casper Original Pillow
Another top contender in the pillow-in-pillow category is the Casper Original Pillow. Both brands are pioneers in the direct-to-consumer sleep space, and their pillows reflect a similar design philosophy but with different material choices. The Casper pillow features a microfiber fill in both its inner and outer chambers, designed to resist clumping. The Saatva, by contrast, uses a microfiber outer chamber but a more substantial and responsive Talalay latex core. This makes the Saatva feel more buoyant and supportive, while the Casper has a more uniform, down-like softness throughout. The Saatva also sleeps slightly cooler due to the breathable latex. The Casper may be preferable for those who want a pure down-alternative feel without the springiness of latex.
A premium pillow is an investment, and it’s helpful to look beyond the initial purchase price. Here’s a realistic estimate of what it costs to own the Saatva Pillow over a five-year period, assuming responsible pillow hygiene.
Essential Pillow Protector: $25 (An average cost for a quality protector, crucial for blocking moisture, oils, and allergens to prolong the pillow’s life)
Replacement Pillow: $145. For reasons of hygiene and performance, even the best pillows should be replaced every 2-3 years. Support materials degrade, and allergens accumulate. We’ll budget for one replacement in a 5-year window.
This works out to approximately $63 per year, or just over $5 per month, for a consistently clean, supportive, and luxurious sleep experience. When viewed this way, the cost feels far more manageable and a worthwhile expenditure for something you use for eight hours every single night.
Delivery, Trial, and Warranty
Saatva’s customer service policies are a key part of their value proposition. While the brand is famous for free white-glove delivery on its mattresses, pillows and other bedding ship via a standard carrier like FedEx or UPS, arriving in a branded box. Shipping is free.
The most important policy is the 45-night sleep trial. You can use the pillow for over a month to decide if it works for you. If you don’t like it for any reason, Saatva will coordinate a free return and issue a full refund. This completely removes the financial risk of trying a premium pillow you can’t test in a store.
The pillow is also backed by a 1-year limited warranty. This covers any defects in materials or workmanship, such as seams coming apart or premature degradation of the fill material that isn’t related to normal use. Keep in mind that it doesn’t cover changes in comfort preference or damage from misuse.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Saatva pillow adjustable?
Yes, it is adjustable in a way. The pillow has an inner core of shredded latex that can be removed. If the full pillow feels too lofty, you can unzip the outer chamber and take out the core, using just the plush down-alternative outer pillow for a softer, flatter experience.
How do you wash the Saatva pillow?
You can wash the outer, down-alternative pillow, but not the inner latex core. To clean, remove the latex core. The outer pillow can be machine washed on a gentle cycle with cool water and a mild detergent. Tumble dry on low heat until thoroughly dry; adding wool dryer balls can help re-fluff it.
What does Talalay latex feel like in a pillow?
Talalay latex feels buoyant, responsive, and breathable. Unlike memory foam which slowly sinks and contours to pressure, latex provides an almost immediate, springy push-back. This creates a feeling of weightless support and prevents the pillow from feeling hot or causing you to feel “stuck”.
Is the Saatva pillow good for neck pain?
For many back and side sleepers, yes. The supportive Talalay latex core is designed to maintain proper cervical alignment, which can help alleviate and prevent neck pain caused by unsupportive pillows. However, if your neck pain is caused by a pillow that is too high, this may not be the solution unless you remove the inner core.
Does the Saatva pillow sleep hot?
No, the Saatva Pillow is an excellent choice for hot sleepers. The combination of a 100% organic cotton cover and the open-cell structure of Talalay latex promotes significant airflow. It actively dissipates heat rather than trapping it like dense memory foam pillows often do.
Verdict
The Saatva Pillow is a standout product in a crowded market. It successfully bridges the gap between the plushness of a down-alternative pillow and the resilient support of a latex one. The quality of materials, thoughtful construction, and positive customer policies make it a worthwhile investment for a broad range of sleepers, particularly combination and back sleepers who want lasting support without sacrificing comfort. While the price is premium, so is the experience. It delivers a tangible upgrade in sleep quality that you can feel from the first night.
If you appreciate the quality and feel of premium materials, we highly recommend this pillow. Sleep & Glow Omnia Pillow Review (2026): Design, Study & Tradeoffs
Yawnder Sleep & Glow Review · Updated September 24, 2026
Sleep & Glow Omnia Pillow Review
Omnia is a sculpted foam pillow designed to reduce facial compression during side and back sleeping. The interesting part is the geometry—not a promise that a pillow can reverse skin aging.
Yawnder archive image of the Sleep & Glow pillow. The brand's current Omnia design has evolved since earlier versions.
Testing disclosure: the previous Yawnder page claimed hands-on testing and showroom availability without enough documented evidence to support those statements. This update is based on the current product design and the brand's published study/materials.
Omnia uses recessed areas and raised edges intended to reduce direct facial compression while keeping the head supported. That makes it a highly specific pillow: it is most relevant to side and back sleepers who are comfortable staying within a molded contour.
What about the wrinkle study?
Sleep & Glow publishes results from a 12-week observational study conducted at a dermatology clinic in Barcelona in 2023. The study measured facial wrinkles with 3D imaging while participants used the Omnia pillow. That is more evidence than a purely cosmetic marketing claim, but an observational brand-reported study is not the same as a large independent randomized trial.
Use the claim at the right scale: it is reasonable to say the pillow is designed to reduce facial compression and that the brand reports wrinkle changes in its observational study. It is too broad to call the pillow a proven anti-aging treatment, promise improved skin elasticity, or imply that every user will see wrinkle reduction.
Who may like it?
Side sleepers concerned about facial pressure against a conventional pillow.
Back sleepers who like a defined contour.
People willing to adapt to a shaped pillow rather than freely reposition a standard rectangular pillow.
Who may dislike it?
Combination sleepers who move far outside a fixed contour.
Stomach sleepers who generally need very little head elevation.
Anyone who prefers loose fill that can be scrunched and reshaped.
Height and neck comfort
The included insert lets users change profile, but no fixed contour is universally correct. Shoulder width, mattress firmness and sleep position still determine whether the pillow feels too tall or too low. See our pillow-height guide.
Bottom line
Omnia is an unusual specialty pillow with a clear mechanical idea: reduce how much the face presses and folds against the sleep surface. Evaluate it for that design and the brand's limited observational evidence—not as a general skin-care or neck-pain treatment.

FitMe Pillow Review (2026): Comfort, Loft & Support
FitMe Pillow: A Much Needed Modern Adjustment to the Traditional Buckwheat Pillow
Buckwheat pillows, as a stand alone product, most likely do not excite the typical consumer. They aren’t soft and fluffy like most items we associate with when we think of the word “pillow,” so what makes them appealing to a consumer? Why would people buy them in the first place and how is the FitMe Pillow different?
There’s no doubt that a plethora of individuals have given up comfort in search of a healthier pillow, one that can yield substantial neck and head support. It can be difficult to find a pillow that can provide optimal spinal alignment, allowing one to minimize neck pain, muscle spasms and general cramping from incorrect sleeping positions. There’s a reason why the Japanese have been sleeping on buckwheat pillows for the past 600 years. For Americans however, the concept is still one we are trying to wrap our heads around.
Overview of the FitMe Pillow
When it comes to the FitMe Pillow, the inventor strove to do something different and that is blend the comfort of foam pillows with the support that buckwheat pillows have been proven to provide. This idea may seem overly basic to some but in reality, it’s pretty innovative as it hasn’t really been executed before..
Construction of the FitMe Pillow
This FitMe Pillow contains two main materials: buckwheat hulls and foam. It’s that simple. The inventor calls this combination an interlocking filling. While the buckwheat provides support, the foam provides loft and is also able to lock in the buckwheat hulls so that they stay in place.
This is all then packed in a pleasant quilted bamboo pillow cover.
The ability to customize the pillow, with additional foam and buckwheat (which come included), also gives it more appeal.
A single Fitme Pillow retails for $49.95 on their official website, while a double-pack sells for an awesome discount of $75.
My FitMe Pillow Findings
Buckwheat pillows are interesting, not only for the sleep benefits they provide but for all the other purposes it’s used for.
They’re natural and they’re even considered to be hypoallergenic
This makes buckwheat pillows a great option for people with allergies.
They have a cooling effect
Because organic buckwheat is resistant to pressure, air is able to pass through the pillow, allowing you to sleep cool and not wake up in a sweat
They provide support
Because buckwheat hulls do not compress, the pillow is designed to form around your head and neck like a mold.
They’re adjustable
This means that if it isn’t perfect the first time around, you can easily try again and adjust the pillow to your liking.
Now that you know the benefits, you might be wondering, “Wait a minute, what exactly is buckwheat anyway?”
Buckwheat is a plant cultivated for its grain-like seeds and as a cover crop. Despite the name, buckwheat is not related to wheat, as it is not a grass. Instead, buckwheat is related to sorrel, knotweed, and rhubarb. Because its seeds are rich in complex carbohydrates, it is referred to as a pseudocereal. (Wikipedia)
It’s used in food as well as beverages such as beer, whiskey and tea, and of course, as the occasional upholstery filling. Because buckwheat is gluten-free, it has been used in the same way as barley to produce a malt that can form the basis for what will be a gluten-free beer.
(Due to the reasons above, only the exterior cover of the pillow can be machine washed. If the buckwheat hulls are soaked, they need to be replaced.)
My FitMe Pillow Recommendation
The story behind the creation of the pillow is pretty interesting. Many people are aware of how overly firm buckwheat pillows are and the FitMe Pillow creator not only echoed that but decided to offer a solution. He strove to make it a softer pillow but of course, not too soft (otherwise the support would be lost.)
If you’re not convinced of the health benefits of it, which are chronicled to excess all over the web, I think it’s an interesting buy nonetheless just for the sheer novelty of the product. In truth, there are genuine reasons why buckwheat pillows have developed a fan base and why they are seen to be effective but it may just take your own trial to become convinced.
The one thing I will point out regarding this pillow is that it’s typical for the buckwheat hulls to fall to the bottom of the pillow, while the foam rests near the top. That being the case, it’s probably a good idea to give it a bit of a shake and turn so that both materials can be nicely mixed.
And lastly: keep this away from your children, or at least keep them ignorant of the fact the pillow is customizable unless you want a mess. 🙂

The Tuft & Needle pillow is a foam pillow that is designed to be soft yet supportive. It is made with T&N Adaptive Foam, which is a proprietary blend of memory foam and latex. This foam is infused with graphite and cooling gel to help keep you cool while you sleep.
The Tuft & Needle pillow is available in two sizes: standard and king. It is also hypoallergenic and CertiPUR-US certified, meaning that it is free of harmful chemicals.
The Tuft & Needle pillow is a popular choice for back and side sleepers. It is also a good option for people who sleep hot, as the cooling gel helps to keep the pillow temperature-neutral.
Here are some of the pros and cons of the Tuft & Needle pillow:
Pros:
Soft yet supportive
Cooling gel helps to keep you cool while you sleep
Overall, the Tuft & Needle pillow is a good choice for people who are looking for a soft yet supportive pillow that will help them to sleep cool.
Overview of The Tuft & Needle Pillow
Tuft & Needle has decided to break the norm by creating a pillow that unlike so many others isn’t adjustable. Their one-size-fits-all approach has resulted in a pretty beautiful, sleek and breathable foam pillow. It’s also super-duper eco-friendly meaning it’s safe for your mind, body and soul!
Construction of The Tuft & Needle Pillow
The Tuft & Needle Pillow is designed to work for all sleep types. It’s made of custom cut T&N Adaptive Foam (their trademark) which consists of graphite and cooling gel beads (meaning it’s thermoregulating), not that there are any “beads” that you see or feel. It’s a pretty sleek and uniform looking product and it’s packaged in a beautifully crafted soft micro polyamide and polyester pillowcase. It’s meant to help you sleep cool and honestly, it looks pretty cool too. It’s just designed SO WELL.
It comes in two different sizes: Standard and King. The Standard pillow retails for $75 while the King size is only an additional $25 on top of that, which is not too shabby. Tuft & Needle is offering a 100 Night Trial and the pillow comes with a 3 Year Limited Warranty. The pillowcase is washable, however the foam and foam encasement is not; it’s recommended that you spot clean it if needed.
It has three different certifications in the name of both health and environmental safety and sustainability. They are: STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX certified (16.HUS.79211, Hohenstein HTTI), GREENGUARD Gold certified and CertiPUR-US® certified. This pillow is also hypoallergenic.
Standard Size 16” x 25” x 5” King Size 16” x 34” x 5”
Setting Herculean Standards for the Mattress, Pillow and Bedding Industry
Most companies release pillows with only one or two of the previously mentioned certifications. Okay, let’s be frank: some with none at all. Tuft & Needle’s towering standards and expectations (it’s a good thing!) in the name of health and environment should bring any decent person to their feet and competitors ought to be paying attention—whether they care for the environment or the health of others or not. It’s not a nice thing to talk about but the reality is that some companies don’t care and anyone who has a good marketing campaign will make sure you can’t tell the difference.
T&N is one of the first to offer a product with a trio and the fact that these certifications have become common makes it apparent that it’s because consumers aren’t afraid to make demands. Although this brings something else to mind: Since people seek it and companies are quick to provide it, the fact that T&N decided to get three different certifications just goes to show you how much there is to be mindful of. It’s crazy how much something can matter to one certifying organization but could perhaps be entirely irrelevant to another. I’m not trying to make a case study out of the brand but I’m curious why the three certifications? Why not just two? Is it to prove their commitment? That wouldn’t be a bad thing. We ask partners to prove their commitment with a diamond ring and we ask others countless ways to put their money where their mouth is. Or is it because there simply isn’t one certification that can encompass so many different areas of concern?
When you consider the price, this is a BIG portion of what you’re paying for: Assurance and that’s not a small thing. To be assured is pretty significant. Let’s not minimize it. (Think about how a mother can feel assured knowing their child has a cell phone they can reach them on.) You’re not paying for a “label.” You’re paying for the knowledge that various third parties/organizations have had to meticulously investigate and hold accountable these companies and their products. Imagine someone having to take ONE person’s feedback into account and going back and making changes to an original design of sorts. Tweaking it, resubmitting it and so on. Consider what it would be like to be under the scrutiny of a whole slew of people in hopes of passing an exam, or meeting their list of requirements, if you will. It’s that involved and that can’t possibly be cheap when it comes to mass-produced consumer products.
My Tuft & Needle Pillow Findings
The Tuft & Needle Pillow is beautiful. It’s designed well and it’s simple. There’s absolutely no guesswork and it even LOOKS great. You don’t have to fluff it, in fact you don’t really have to do a thing. It’s soft and comfortable (and it has almost zero off-gassing too, which is huge) but where I think most reviewers get it wrong is by trying too hard to make it sound like the one-size-fits-all that it’s creators originally meant and hoped for it to be. The reality is this: Many things aren’t what they seem to be. It’s not exactly a firm pillow so I won’t describe it that way. Heck, it’s not even medium firm. This is a SOFT pillow. The way it appears, because it’s made from a single piece of foam and because foam retains its shape, might give the impression or illusion that this is another “medium firm” pillow but it’s not. The moment you lay on the pillow you will know. The foam compresses significantly to hold space for your melon. It doesn’t dip just a little—it sinks. Due to its intrinsic properties, I think this could be a great product for back sleepers and stomach sleepers but side sleepers, heed caution. There’s no doubt that when it comes to customer reviews that the results are pretty varied here but one of the most common remarks that I found was that this pillow does tend to lose some loft throughout the night. That being the case, while it might seem “supportive” at first (I honestly have no idea how), it most likely won’t stay that way to see the morning.
My Tuft & Needle Pillow Recommendation
The pillow feels like a normal pillow should feel. I don’t want you to think that it suddenly meets mattress level the moment it’s met with any weight BUT if you’re a side sleeper, chances are you need copious amounts of support to avoid waking up with a stiff neck. The type of support that you can’t ever doubt and in my opinion, this pillow is just too soft to meet the requirements of such needy concerns. The Tuft & Needle Pillow is fabulous, aesthetically well executed and made with top-notch materials (you can see it and feel it) but I don’t believe this is a one-size-fits-all. While they nailed “soft and squishy,” I’m not sure “supportive” can really fit into the picture. Supportive is usually synonymous with a certain level of firmness.
The Tuft & Needle pillow offers good value at $75 for a standard size or $100 for a king, especially given its certifications and comfort features. It includes a 100-night trial and a three-year warranty, which allows ample time to assess its suitability without a long-term commitment.
Who is the Tuft & Needle pillow best for?
The Tuft & Needle pillow is best for back and stomach sleepers who prefer a soft yet supportive foam pillow. Its thermoregulating foam and hypoallergenic properties also make it a strong choice for those concerned about sleeping hot or allergies.
What are the downsides of the Tuft & Needle pillow?
One downside is that side sleepers may find the pillow loses loft overnight, potentially leading to neck stiffness due to insufficient elevation. Additionally, some users might find its medium support to be softer than expected, which may not appeal to those needing firmer support.
Is the Tuft & Needle pillow good for hot sleepers?
Yes, the Tuft & Needle pillow incorporates cutting-edge cooling technology with graphite and cooling gel beads within its T&N Adaptive Foam, which helps maintain a comfortable sleeping temperature. This design aims to prevent overheating, making it suitable for hot sleepers.
Can I try the Tuft & Needle pillow in person?
While the article primarily focuses on the Tuft & Needle pillow's features, Yawnder, a San Diego mattress retailer, has an Encinitas, CA showroom where you could explore different sleep accessories. You might be able to find comparable products or gain insight into pillow types there.

The Tuft & Needle pillow stands out with its one-size-fits-all design using T&N Adaptive Foam, a blend of memory foam and latex with thermoregulating cooling gel beads and graphite. Unlike many adjustable pillows, it offers a streamlined, consistent feel, complemented by a soft, removable, and washable micro polyamide and polyester pillowcase.

Airweave Pillow Review: Breathability, Feel & Support
Looking for a comparable pillow on Amazon?Compare breathable washable pillows on Amazon. These are similar options, not necessarily the exact product reviewed; availability varies.
airweave is a sleep company that makes mattresses, pillows and other sleep accessories. The story of airweave starts with Founder & CEO, Motokuni Takaoka who took over his uncles fishing line company and with his education as an engineer discovered that the resin fiber used to create fishing lines could also be used to create a revolutionary type of sleeping surface. This is also known as airfiber technology and resembles a tangled up fishing line that makes for a spongy, breathable sleeping surface. I received a free airweave pillow for review that has this technology. I previously reviewed the airweave mattress a while back and found that the pillow is just as interesting.
Overview of the airweave S-Line pillow
The first thing I noticed when my pillow arrived was how light and hence the name, airweave, it is mostly air inside the fibers which makes it ultra-breathable, easily the most breathable pillow on the market.
Here’s a quick video of the airweave factory where the make the pillows and mattresses.
Below is my overview and thoughts on the pillow. You can see in the video how easy it is to clean and why it is so sanitary and the perfect choice for people with allergies.
My airweave pillow findings
This pillow comes with inserts so you can adust the height. The inserts are made with the same airfibers as the pillow and you get two of them. I kept mine in since I prefer to sleep on my side and have broad shoulders. This pillow was still slightly too thin for my taste but you can just put a standard pillow underneath it.
Here I’m sleeping on my back and it keeps me in good alignment. I don’t sink into this pillow much at all. If you want a super soft, cuddly pillow you will need to look elsewhere.
Here I am on my side and yes, the pillow is firmer than most I have slept on but it is still comfortable and you don’t have to worry about it sinking overnight. What I noticed is that the pillow never got too hot. It just felt cool all night long. This may or may not be a benefit but I could also hear better because my left ear wasn’t insulated with foam or feathers like a traditional pillow.
Final thoughts on the airweave pillow
The airweave pillow retails for $280 and that is certainly a lot to pay for a pillow. However, keep in mind that this pillow is completely washable by cleaning the inside with water under the sink and the outside cover in the laundry. This is the only pillow I have found that will keep its shape and performance after many washes and because of the materials its made with, it will hold up very well over time and give you great support for years which makes it a solid investment. You have 45 days to return the pillow and keep in mind that they will charge a \$20 restocking fee. I recommend this pillow to people that want a firmer, more supportive pillow, tend to sleep hot and enjoy keeping their bedroom as clean as possible, if you check those boxes, this pillow will be well worth it.

Airweave Standard vs S-Line vs Ku Soft: which pillow fits?
Airweave currently sells multiple pillows with different contours and customization options. Yawnder's original hands-on review is focused on the S-Line; do not treat it as a firsthand review of every newer model.

Why the Airfiber construction matters
Airfiber is a resilient, airy synthetic network rather than a solid memory-foam block. That can make the pillow feel quicker to respond and easier to rinse, but the feel is distinctive. Check the manufacturer's model-specific washing instructions and test loft with your usual sleeping position.
The Airweave Pillow and the Purple Pillow are both popular pillow brands that offer a unique sleeping experience. However, there are some key differences between the two pillows that may make one a better fit for you than the other.
The Airweave Pillow is made of a lightweight, breathable material that is designed to keep your head and neck cool throughout the night. The pillow is also very responsive and supportive, making it a good choice for sleepers of all positions.
The Purple Pillow is made of a proprietary material called Hyper-Elastic Polymer that is designed to cradle your head and neck while also providing support. The pillow is also very breathable and helps to regulate your temperature while you sleep.

Dreampad Pillow Review (2026): Intrasound Audio for Sleep
Yawnder Reviews · Updated 2026
Dreampad Pillow Review
Our hands-on experience with Dreampad, what has changed under Accessible Tech, who the private-audio pillow is best suited for, and how to use Yawnder’s current affiliate discount.
Bottom line
Dreampad is one of the more unusual sleep accessories we’ve tested because the main benefit is private audio through the pillow, not a conventional pillow upgrade. Our original test found the listening experience genuinely interesting for bedtime relaxation and for couples where only one person wants sound. Dreampad is now part of Accessible Tech, so today’s hardware, app features and pricing may differ from the version we tested.

What to know
Product type
Sound pillow / private-listening sleep accessory
Current brand home

Core idea
Audio is converted into subtle vibration in the pillow so the person lying on it experiences the sound without filling the room with speaker audio.
Our testing basis
Hands-on testing of an earlier Dreampad version. We preserve those observations as historical testing context.
Best fit
People who like relaxing audio at bedtime, especially when a partner does not want to hear the same sound.
Current Yawnder code

Pros
Private listening is the standout feature.
Useful when one partner wants bedtime audio and the other does not.
Our original test found the relaxation tracks unobtrusive and easy to sleep with.
The concept is meaningfully different from a normal speaker or white-noise machine.
Cons
Our hands-on test was of an earlier version, not the current Accessible Tech configuration.
Current specs, accessories, app features and price should be checked before buying.
It should not be treated as a medical treatment for insomnia, PTSD, anxiety, autism or ADHD.
The Yawnder discount requires manually entering the coupon code at checkout.
How Dreampad works
Dreampad’s core idea is to turn audio into vibration through transducers built into the pillow. When your head is on the pillow, the sound is experienced much more privately than audio coming from a bedside speaker. That makes it particularly interesting for shared bedrooms.
The technology is the reason to consider Dreampad. We would not buy it simply because you need a new pillow; we would buy it because you specifically want a private way to listen to music, relaxation audio or similar sound while lying down.
What happened in our original Dreampad test
The part that stood out: privacy
When we first tested Dreampad, the sound was easy to experience while lying on the pillow but much less noticeable after lifting your head. At a comfortable volume, a sleeping partner a few inches away was not hearing the same audio the way they would with a normal speaker.
We also found the supplied relaxation audio easy to listen to without feeling overpowering. As someone who normally preferred a white-noise machine, I was surprised that I could fall asleep with music playing through the pillow.
Important 2026 update: Dreampad is now part of Accessible Tech. The review above reflects the experience of the version Yawnder originally tested; it should not be read as a claim that every old cable, Bluetooth accessory, app feature, firmness option or price is still current.
Who should consider Dreampad?
Good fit
You like falling asleep to music, guided relaxation or calming audio.
Your partner wants the bedroom quiet while you want sound.
You find headphones or earbuds uncomfortable in bed.
You are specifically interested in the private-listening experience.
Probably skip it if
You are mainly shopping for a conventional pillow based on loft, firmness or ergonomic support.
You expect a device that is clinically proven to treat a sleep or mental-health condition.
You want the simplest possible setup and would be just as happy with a standard speaker or white-noise machine.
Dreampad research and health claims
Dreampad has been associated with research and user reports involving relaxation, sensory regulation and sleep. Those findings are better treated as supportive or preliminary, not as proof that the pillow treats PTSD, insomnia, anxiety, autism, ADHD or another medical condition.
Our reason for recommending that some shoppers consider Dreampad is much narrower: the private-audio experience is unusual and, in our original testing, worked as intended. Anyone seeking treatment for a medical or sleep condition should rely on appropriate clinical guidance rather than a consumer sleep accessory.

Frequently asked questions
Who owns Dreampad now?
Dreampad is now part of Accessible Tech. Current product information and purchasing are handled through the Accessible Tech website.
How do I get the Yawnder Dreampad discount?
Enter yawnder15 at checkout. Accessible Tech requires the coupon code to receive the affiliate discount and attribute the referral to Yawnder.
Does the affiliate link automatically apply the coupon?
No. The current program requires customers to enter yawnder15 manually at checkout.
Is this review based on the current Dreampad version?
Our hands-on testing was performed on an earlier Dreampad version. We updated the review in 2026 to reflect the Accessible Tech transition and current affiliate process while clearly separating historical testing observations from current product details.
Is Dreampad proven to treat insomnia, PTSD, anxiety, autism or ADHD?
No. We would not describe Dreampad as a proven medical treatment. Research and user reports may be interesting, but they do not replace clinical evidence or professional care.
How is Dreampad different from a white-noise machine?
A white-noise machine plays sound into the room. Dreampad’s defining idea is that the person lying on the pillow experiences the audio much more privately, which can be useful in a shared bedroom.

Reflex Pillow Review (2026): Support & Pressure Relief
Reflex Pillow: A Side Sleeper’s Dream
The Reflex Pillow was specifically designed to relieve and eradicate the neck pain and back pain that is usually a result of inadequate support during sleep. But even more, the Reflex Pillow is best suited for side sleepers.
Sleeping on your side, for those that do, just feels natural. It’s even how we prepared ourselves for the real world while still in the womb. There is a certain comfort to it that is difficult to shake, and even more difficult to shop for. So many pillow manufacturing companies try to create products that are a one-size-fits-all but this rarely works.
Overview of the Reflex Pillow
Noel O’Conner, the Irish inventor behind the Reflex Pillow, is a specialist in the treatment of back and neck pain since 1987.
After having to both see and treat countless patients, he was motivated to create a pillow that could alleviate so many of the issues that come from poor sleep such as neck pain, spinal alignment, sleep apnoea, snoring, insomnia and even teeth grinding.
Most ideal for side sleepers
Created in Ireland
Reflex foam is 50% softer than memory foam
An expensive pillow no doubt but with the quality to match
Item must be purchased directly through the Reflex Pillow website
Shipping is $30 (since it’s coming to you from Ireland)
They have a 14-day return policy
The Reflex Pillow is fully patented and trademarked. It is also an approved medical device and CE certified.
“CE marking is a certification mark that indicates conformity with health, safety, and environmental protection standards for products sold within the European Economic Area (EEA)”The Reflex Pillow retails for €79.00 which comes out to be roughly $97.53. Being that it’s being shipped to you directly from Ireland, shipping on top of that is €25.00 which is roughly $30.87. The pillow can only be purchased directly through their site.
Construction of the Reflex Pillow
The Reflex Pillow is 610mm long x 412mm wide x 110mm high. In inches that means it’s 24” long x 16.22” wide x 4.33” high. It has a flat bottom base along with a shaped top surface. It weighs 2 kg which is about 4.4 lbs. It’s suitable for all standard pillow cases.
It’s specially formulated with a non toxic foam material, also known as Reflex Foam, which was specifically created to be used in this product. Reflex Foam is 50% softer than memory foam.
My Reflex Pillow Findings
I really consider the Reflex Pillow to be a substantial and high quality product. Given it’s price that’s precisely what it should be and that’s exactly what it is. While it isn’t said to be for side sleepers only, this is the impression that I was given when reading this:
The Reflex Pillow is constructed with some amazing contouring. It’s a pillow that finally pays mind to the all of the details of the body when considering the head, neck and shoulders. There is an anti-headroll ridge in the center, there are 2 head dips, as seen in the image above, and then there is a neck support and shoulder slot. And let me tell you, that shoulder slot is heavenly.
In in the information guide that came with the pillow, there is no indication of how to sleep on the Reflex Pillow if you were sleeping on your back because I don’t believe it was designed for that. If it were, why else have the ridge in the center?
I am usually reluctant when it comes to foam pillows but this one is really different because it’s not created with memory foam. In fact Reflex Foam is 50% softer than memory foam. Reflex foam is soft, comfortable, pleasant but also supportive. When laying on it for the first time I could tell that it still provides adequate support for the neck and shoulder. Overall it gives stability without feeling stiff.
My Reflex Pillow Recommendation
One of the first things that stood out to me about the product was the passion involved in creating it. Noel O’Conner, a back and neck pain specialist, put himself out there on crowdfunding websites like Kickstarter and IndieGoGo to fuel his dream and create a product that would be effective in helping people overcome their neck pain and spinal alignment issues. He ended up raising twice the amount of his original goal, which gave me the awesome opportunity to try it.
The pillow is costly, there’s no doubt about that but you pay a high price for high quality goods, that’s just the reality. I also actually like that you have to purchase it from their website directly. It says a lot about how important it is to the company to handle their own product and their own customer service. For people who are truly suffering with pain from sleeping or pain overall, that can easily worsen with poor pillow support, the Reflex Pillow is absolutely worth the investment. I’ve slept on it only for 1 night so far but can’t express just how impressed I am with it. It looks and feels like a high quality product in every way. Reflex Pillow’s 14-day money back guarantee is also comforting.

Purple Plush Pillow Review.
Yawnder review snapshot
Purple Cloud Pillow Review: 2026 Snapshot
Status: Current Purple model.
Best for: Back and stomach sleepers who want a soft, fluffy down-alternative feel rather than Purple’s firmer GelFlex Grid experience.
Quick verdict: The Cloud is Purple’s traditional-feeling option: premium down-alternative gel fiber inside a breathable cotton cover. It is not a GelFlex Grid pillow.
Watch-outs: The Cloud has a fixed soft feel; shoppers who want height or firmness adjustability should compare Purple’s Freeform, TwinCloud and other adjustable models.
The Purple Cloud Pillow is Purple’s soft, down-alternative option. The current model uses 100% gel-fiber fill inside a breathable 100% cotton, 300-thread-count cover. It does not use GelFlex Grid.
Feel: soft, fluffy and down-like.
Best fit: Purple lists it as commonly preferred by back and stomach sleepers.
Loft: fixed rather than adjustable; the standard size is about 6 inches tall.
Trial: 30 nights, with a 1-year limited warranty.
Care: washable according to Purple’s current care instructions.
If you want Purple’s signature Grid feel or adjustable height, compare the Harmony, Freeform, DreamLayer, GridCloud or original Purple Pillow instead.
Our Hands-On Take
The appeal of the Cloud is that it feels much more conventional than Purple’s Grid-based pillows. In our testing, the soft fiber fill created a plush, familiar feel instead of the springy response people associate with the Purple mattress.
I liked the easygoing softness, but I would not choose the Cloud if you need a tall, structured side-sleeper pillow. It makes more sense for back and stomach sleepers, guest rooms, or anyone who wants a fluffy down-alternative feel without actual down.
Who should consider it?
Back and stomach sleepers who prefer softer pillows.
People who like down-like fluff but want synthetic fill.
Shoppers who want a fully washable, straightforward pillow.
Who should skip it?
Side sleepers who need substantial loft and firmer neck support.
Anyone expecting GelFlex Grid.
Shoppers who want to add or remove fill to tune the pillow.
Bottom line: The current Purple Cloud is a simple, plush down-alternative pillow. Its strength is familiarity and softness, not adjustability or Purple’s signature Grid technology.
