Casper Cloud One Review (2026)
Verdict: 4.3/5 — Cloud One is the best all-foam bed Casper sells, and the right pick for side sleepers who do not want to spend hybrid money.

Short answer: Cloud One is the upgraded version of Casper’s most popular foam mattress. It keeps the 11-inch all-foam format but adds the patent-pending Casper Core+ layer, which pushes the surface plusher without letting the hips drop. Queen runs $1,099 on the current promotion against a $1,374 list. It is the model to pick if you liked the old Casper Original feel but wanted more cushioning.

How it performs, category by category
Pressure relief
The strongest reason to buy it. Shoulders and hips sink into the comfort layers instead of stopping on them, which is what side sleepers need.
Support and alignment
Casper Core+ is what keeps this from becoming a hammock. Alignment holds well for sleepers up to about 230 lb; above that a hybrid is safer.
Cooling
Neutral. Plusher foam means more of your body is surrounded by mattress, so hot sleepers should step up to Snow.
Motion isolation
Excellent — better than any hybrid in the lineup. Couples with mismatched schedules benefit most.
Edge support
Soft, as with any all-foam bed. Sitting on the perimeter compresses it noticeably.
Off-gassing
A day or two of mild foam smell, then it clears.
How the Cloud One scores

Scored out of 10 against mattresses in the same price band, not against the whole market.

Pros and cons
What we like
- Genuinely plush surface that still supports the lumbar.
- Best-in-lineup motion isolation.
- Casper Core+ is a real construction change, not a cover swap.
- Queen lands near $1,099 on promotion.
What we would change
- No coils, so edge support and airflow stay average.
- Not offered in a Split King.
- Heavier sleepers will want the Dream Max instead.
- Runs warmer than the Snow hybrids.

Where this model fits
- Versus The One: about $200 more for a softer, better-cushioned surface. Side sleepers should pay it.
- Versus the Snow hybrid: Snow costs roughly $800 more and adds coils plus real cooling — the upgrade to make if you overheat.
- Versus a plush memory-foam rival: Cloud One is more responsive and easier to move on than a slow-sinking memory-foam bed.

Frequently asked questions
Is Cloud One softer than The One?
Yes. Cloud One sits around 5.5/10 versus roughly 6.5/10 for The One, and the Casper Core+ layer is what creates the extra plushness.
Is Cloud One good for back pain?
It can be, for average-weight sleepers — the Core+ layer keeps the hips from sinking. Heavier sleepers with back pain should look at the Dream Max instead.
Does Cloud One come in a Split King?
No. It is offered from Twin through California King only.
What is Casper Core+?
A patent-pending core layer that adds surface plushness while preserving support, exclusive to Cloud One in the current lineup.
What is the trial and warranty?
Cloud One ships with a 100-night risk-free trial, free shipping and returns in the contiguous US, and a 10-year limited warranty.
The verdict
4.3/5. Cloud One is the best all-foam bed Casper sells, and the right pick for side sleepers who do not want to spend hybrid money. The compromises are the ones every foam mattress makes — soft edges and neutral temperature — so hot sleepers and heavier sleepers should keep reading down the lineup.
