The Premier Hybrid is Nectar's mid-tier coil bed — $1,199 for a Queen this week, sitting between the $849 Classic Hybrid and the $1,649 Luxe Hybrid. We priced all three off Nectar's own size selector and worked out which one is actually worth buying.
Nectar sells five mattresses, and the Premier Hybrid is the one people ask about most because it looks like the sensible middle choice. It is a pocketed coil bed with a plusher quilted comfort layer than the entry hybrid, a taller profile, and the same trial and warranty terms as everything else in the line.
Whether it is the right buy depends entirely on what the bed above and below it costs, so that is where we started. Every price here came off Nectar's own size selector this week.

A thicker, plusher comfort layer and a taller overall build. That is the honest answer. You lie down and the Premier Hybrid gives you more immediate cushion at the shoulder and hip than the Classic Hybrid does, and the quilted top feels more like a mattress you would find in a store than a boxed budget bed.
What it does not buy is a different support system. Both beds sit on a pocketed coil core, which is the part that determines whether the mattress still holds you up in year five. That is the good news for anyone shopping the Classic Hybrid: the cheap one is not the fragile one. The upgrade here is comfort, not longevity, and you should price it accordingly.
For a lot of buyers that comfort upgrade is worth $350. Side sleepers who bottom out on firmer beds, couples splitting the difference on firmness preference, and anyone over about 230 lb who wants more material between them and the coils will feel the difference on night one.
Cooling: better than the Classic, not as good as the Luxe
This bed cools better than any all-foam Nectar and better than the Classic Hybrid, for two structural reasons: coils under a more open quilted top move more air than coils under a denser foam slab, and the cover is cooling-treated. That is a real ranking, and it holds up.
It is also the middle of a three-step ladder, and if heat is your headline problem you should climb to the top of it. The Luxe Hybrid at $1,649 is the coolest bed Nectar makes and the only one we would recommend to someone who wakes up sweating. Paying $1,199 for a partial fix is the wrong move when the full fix is $450 away.
One thing to ignore on every brand, including this one: the phrase cool-to-the-touch. Every treated knit feels cool for the first two minutes of contact and stops mattering after that. Buy the construction underneath it.
Who it fits, by sleep position
Side sleepers: yes, this is the model in the line built for you. The plusher top lets the shoulder settle in without the hip dropping out from under the spine, which is exactly what the firmer Classic Hybrid can fail to do for lighter side sleepers.
Back sleepers: either bed works, and most back sleepers will prefer the cheaper one. The Classic Hybrid's firmer surface keeps the lumbar curve supported with less sink, and you save $350.
Stomach sleepers: be careful. The Premier Hybrid is a medium and the plusher top lets the hips settle lower than the ribs, which is the mechanism behind lower-back complaints in front sleepers. Buy the Classic Hybrid instead, or look at a firmer hybrid outside the Nectar line entirely.
Couples: this is the second-best case for it. The coil core gives you edge support you can actually sleep on, and the extra comfort layer absorbs enough movement that a partner getting up early is not an event. If one of you sleeps hot, though, the Luxe Hybrid is the peace-treaty bed.

You get 365 nights to decide. Returns are free, and Nectar arranges a pickup or a local donation rather than making you box a mattress back up. Nectar asks that you sleep on the bed roughly 30 nights before starting a return, which is reasonable — a hybrid's comfort layer does break in.
The Forever Warranty is a lifetime limited warranty, and the word limited is doing work. Normal softening is excluded. A sagging claim needs an impression deeper than about an inch measured with no weight on the bed. And on Queen and larger, the warranty requires a center support rail with a leg to the floor.
That last condition is the most common reason a Nectar claim gets denied, and it is a $40 part. If your frame does not have it, fix that before the bed arrives. Budget $200–$300 if you need a whole foundation — we included it in the cost table below because most people do.

We reviewed an earlier Premier Hybrid in April 2023, and two things have changed enough to be worth noting if you are comparing older write-ups. Back then Nectar listed the bed at $1,599 for a queen — $400 more than today's $1,199 — and marketed it as a medium-firm bed at roughly 6.5 out of 10. On our current protocol, the bed we measured in August 2026 comes in softer at 5.5, which is why our advice now points side sleepers here rather than back sleepers.
