Mattress review & brand hub · 2026 guide
Start with the Restonic collection and exact model
Restonic has four current national collections and many local-store variations. ComfortCare, HealthRest, Signature and Grand Palais need to be compared by their actual build, feel and retailer policy.
Updated October 8, 2026. This review and brand hub assesses manufacturer specifications and published buying terms. It does not assign hands-on test scores to these current models.
Collections & current models
| Collection | Verified current lineup | Useful comparison | Check before choosing |
|---|---|---|---|
ComfortCare | Four levels; current listed profiles span 12–16 inches. | Mainstream coil-supported options with progressively different comfort layers. | Full level, firmness and top name; Level 4 is not one universal feel. |
HealthRest | Eight named mattresses, including Euro Tops, Tight Tops and three hybrids. | Latex-containing comfort packages with different core constructions. | The named model’s foam or coil core, not just the HealthRest label. |
Signature | Six premium models; manufacturer lists 14.5–16-inch profiles. | Tight Top, Euro Top and hand-tufted options. | Exact coil zoning and the model-specific comfort package. |
Grand Palais | Diamond, Sapphire and Tiarra variants with 14.5–17-inch profiles. | Luxury upholstery with wool, Talalay latex and NanoComfort coils listed. | Top style, handling weight, bed height and seller terms. |
ComfortCare levels: what changes
Levels 1 and 2 use the manufacturer’s 800 Series SuperEdge coil unit. The current Level 1 choices include 12-inch Plush and Medium and a 13-inch Euro Top. Level 2 adds a different foam package and lists Plush, Firm and Euro Top options.
Levels 3 and 4 move to the listed 1,000 Series individually wrapped coil unit with Marvelous Middle support. Level 4 also lists latex and NanoComfort coils. Its options range from an Extra Firm Tight Top to more upholstered Euro Tops. A Level 4 name alone is therefore insufficient to predict surface softness.
HealthRest: choose the named model
The current page lists Tranquility, Haven, Solace, Aura, Drift, Repose Hybrid, Refuge Hybrid and Sanctuary Hybrid. Their listed profiles range from 12 to 17 inches. All eight appear with Talalay latex in the comparison chart, but their core and additional foam layers differ.
Repose and Refuge are listed as Plush hybrids; Sanctuary Hybrid is listed as Firm. Tranquility is a Medium Euro Top, while Haven and Solace are Plush Euro Tops. Aura and Drift are Medium Tight Tops. Use those named models as your shortlist rather than applying one blanket firmness to HealthRest.
Materials & construction
Coil support and comfort coils serve different roles
Restonic’s Marvelous Middle branding describes its center-support approach in specified coil units. It does not make every Restonic mattress the same zoned hybrid. Compare the support unit separately from the foam, latex or smaller comfort coils above it.
NanoComfort coils appear in selected higher-end constructions. Those small coils are part of the comfort package. A mattress may have both a main support coil unit and a smaller comfort-coil layer, so asking for “the coil count” without identifying the layer can produce a misleading comparison.
Latex, wool and cooling foam
HealthRest, selected ComfortCare builds and Grand Palais include latex in their current descriptions. Grand Palais also lists natural wool and a range of cooling-branded foams. That establishes the named materials, not their thickness in every retailer version or an independent temperature score.
Signature’s current page includes cooling and targeted-support features, with premium and hand-tufted options. Its overview and detailed text use different zoning descriptions. We would ask for the actual local model’s specification sheet rather than publish a single zone count across all six mattresses.

Sleeper fit
Restonic has enough variety that the collection name is a poor substitute for an actual firmness choice. These are construction-based fit considerations, rather than scored current-model test results.
- Side sleepers: start with a Plush or suitably cushioned Euro Top. Compare shoulder pressure and pelvic support together; a 17-inch profile is not automatically more comfortable than a lower mattress.
- Back sleepers: shortlist a Medium or Gentle Firm configuration and compare how evenly it supports the lower back. The center-support feature should be assessed on the exact model.
- Stomach sleepers: try a firmer Tight Top or Sanctuary Hybrid Firm before a very plush luxury surface. Check whether the comfort layers let the hips settle too far.
- Couples: test rolling movement and perimeter stability on the same bed. Individually wrapped coils are relevant to movement control, but the top layers and frame also matter.
- People who want easier access: add the mattress height to the foundation and frame. A 16- or 17-inch mattress can make a bed much taller than expected.
Value, pros & cons
Restonic can be a worthwhile local-store alternative when the dealer provides enough detail to compare a specific mattress with a similarly built competitor. A discount from a store’s own reference price is less useful than the final delivered price and a written comfort policy.
Our first shortlist would usually be the ComfortCare level and feel that fits your budget. Move to HealthRest if its named latex-containing model has the surface you want; compare Signature or Grand Palais if their upholstery, hand-tufted option or taller luxury build produces an identifiable benefit.
A retailer-exclusive name is not automatically a problem. It becomes difficult to assess when the seller cannot identify the support unit, comfort materials, height or warranty code. Request those details so you can compare two offers without assuming identical names or prices across stores.
Reasons to consider it
- A current four-collection lineup with many firmness and top choices.
- Clear national comparison charts for ComfortCare and HealthRest.
- Latex and smaller comfort-coil options in selected builds.
- Luxury models offer an alternative to the biggest national premium brands.
Tradeoffs to consider
- Retailer and regional versions require an exact specification match.
- The national website does not establish one universal retail trial or price.
- Warranty length depends on the code on the mattress label.
- Some national product text needs clarification at the model level, including Signature zoning.
Retailer terms & warranty codes
| Comfort trial | Set by the retailer; no single national comfort-refund window should be assumed |
|---|---|
| C1 warranty code | 10 years total / 10 years listed without repair-or-replacement charge |
| C2 warranty code | 10 years total / 5 years listed without repair-or-replacement charge |
| C3 warranty code | 10 years total / 1 year listed without repair-or-replacement charge |
| C4 warranty code | 1 year total / 1 year listed without repair-or-replacement charge |
| C5 warranty code | 5 years total / 5 years listed without repair-or-replacement charge |
| Additional costs | Manufacturer’s table excludes transportation and inspection costs |
Restonic’s warranty table makes the law-tag code essential. It is inaccurate to describe every Restonic mattress as carrying the same ten-year fully non-prorated coverage. The non-charge period and total term are separate columns, and the actual written warranty defines the remedy and exclusions.
Ask the store to put the comfort-return policy on the invoice. Establish whether it offers a refund or one exchange, when the request must be made, whether a protector is required and who pays for pickup. For a clearance or floor-sample mattress, get the applicable terms separately.
Retain the law tag, receipt and model details. A warranty covers specified manufacturing issues; it does not guarantee that you will continue to like the firmness. That is why a clear store comfort policy has real value even when the mattress has a long defect warranty.
Frequently asked questions
What are the current Restonic collections?
The checked national directory lists ComfortCare, HealthRest, Signature and Grand Palais.
Are all Restonic mattresses hybrids?
No. HealthRest’s current chart includes different core constructions, and the specific model name identifies which build you are comparing.
Does every Restonic mattress have a ten-year warranty?
No. The manufacturer lists different warranty codes. C4 is listed at one year and C5 at five years; C1, C2 and C3 have different non-charge periods within a ten-year total term.
Does Restonic have a national free home trial?
Use the selling retailer’s written comfort policy. A national manufacturer warranty is not the same as a retailer’s refund or exchange trial.
Is ComfortCare Level 4 always plush?
No. The current choices include an Extra Firm Tight Top and several other top/comfort configurations.
Can I compare Restonic prices across stores by brand alone?
No. Match the full model, size, top and specification, then include delivery and the comfort-return terms.
