Macy’s Mattress Return Policy (2026): 120 Days, $99 Pickup, 15% Fee

Macy’s allows one reselection or return within 120 days of delivery. A $99 pickup fee applies, delivery fees are never refunded, and a 15% preference fee applies depending on brand. Purple, Simba, Saatva, Goodful, Sealy2GO and Leesa skip the 15% fee on a first return; Tempur-Pedic, iComfort, Bedgear and most other brands do not. The mattress must be undamaged, unstained and in good condition.
The brand list is the whole story
Two customers can return the same-priced mattress on the same day and pay very different amounts, purely because of the brand on the law tag. Macy’s publishes the split:

On a $2,000 mattress that difference is $300 plus the $99 pickup versus $99 alone. If you are choosing between two beds you like equally at Macy’s, the cheaper one to be wrong about is the one on the no-fee list.
How the 120 days are counted
- The clock starts at delivery, not purchase.
- You get one reselection or return. A second one carries additional fees.
- Once you make the request, the pickup or reselection has to be scheduled within 14 days — do not start the process during a month you are travelling.
- The mattress must be undamaged, unstained and in good condition when the crew arrives.
Furniture is a different, much shorter policy
Do not assume the mattress window covers the bed frame. For furniture delivered on a scheduled truck, Macy’s asks you to contact them within 3 days of delivery for a preference return, with a 15% restocking fee and non-refundable delivery. Furniture shipped by UPS or direct from a vendor gets 30 days with a 15% return fee. Special-order furniture requires a non-refundable 25% deposit. Pool tables are non-refundable.
