Living Spaces Mattress Return Policy (2026): 100 Nights on Qualifying Beds Only
The trial exists – but only on a specific list of collections, and only as an exchange.
Living Spaces’ policy has two halves. Mattresses and box springs are not returnable or exchangeable — all other mattress and box spring sales are final. The exception is the sleep-trial list: on qualifying collections you get a one-time exchange within 100 days, after sleeping on the bed for a minimum of 30 nights, with a $199 restocking fee per mattress set. It is an exchange, never a refund.
Which beds actually qualify
Living Spaces publishes the qualifying sleep-trial collections, and the list is what you should check before anything else in the store:

If the mattress you are about to buy is not on that list, treat it as final. The saving on a non-qualifying bed is real, but so is the risk — and $199 to exchange a qualifying bed is cheaper than being stuck with the wrong one.
How the 100-day exchange works
- Sleep on it at least 30 nights. The trial cannot be used before that.
- Contact Guest Services within 100 days. One exchange per purchase, and the replacement has no further trial.
- Pay $199 per mattress set. The fee covers the mattress and its flat foundation.
- Keep it clean. Stains, tears or punctures on the mattress or flat foundation disqualify the exchange.
- Money moves both ways here. Unusually for furniture retail, if the new mattress costs less, Living Spaces refunds the difference.
One California-specific detail worth knowing
Mattress removal is normally part of full-service delivery only and is not offered in every market. In California, Living Spaces includes mattress removal with any mattress delivery. Contaminated mattresses — stained, soiled or wet — will not be taken.
