How the Duo system works
Each standard Duo uses a flippable support layer with a separate comfort top secured by CLING material. Changing the top changes the feel without replacing the entire support layer. How to choose a firmness
Engineered Sleep describes Duo Memory Plus as medium-plush, Duo Performance as balanced, Duo Latex Plus as medium, and Duo Essential as firm. These are the manufacturer's ranges, not Yawnder test results. Side sleepers who prefer cushioning can start by comparing Memory Plus; back or stomach sleepers seeking less sink may prefer firmer options. Body size, mattress support, and preference matter, so use the trial to assess your own fit.
Trial, comfort exchange and warranty
Engineered Sleep lists a 100-night trial for eligible standard models and one mattress return per household. Duo buyers can request one comfort exchange, with possible price differences for a different top. The custom Duo Epic is excluded from the 100-night trial but the company lists one comfort exchange. Its warranty page states 10 years for Duo Support and 5 years for Duo Comfort; read the written terms for the exact model and seller.
