Quick answer
Quick answer: A Tempur-Pedic adjustable bed can use regular fitted sheets if they fit securely as the mattress moves. Match the sheet to the mattress dimensions and depth, including a protector or topper. For a split king, use two fitted sheets sized for the separate mattresses. If the mattresses shift apart, see how to keep a Split King together.
Which size sheets do you need?
| Setup | Fitted sheet | Check |
|---|---|---|
| One-piece queen or king | One fitted sheet matching the mattress size. | Depth and elastic fit when the base is raised. |
| Split king | Two twin XL fitted sheets, one for each mattress. | Flat sheet and pillowcases included in the set. |
| Split California king | A split California king set, or fitted sheets matching each half’s exact dimensions. | Do not assume twin XL halves fit. |
| Split-head mattress | A fitted sheet designed for that mattress’s head split. | Split length, mattress dimensions and model compatibility. |
Tempur-Pedic’s split sheet sets include two fitted sheets, one flat sheet and two pillowcases. Check the listing for your own set; bundles differ.
Sheets to compare
Tempur-Pedic ProAir
The ProAir sheet set uses a cotton and TENCEL lyocell blend, according to Tempur-Pedic. The maker’s fit FAQ lists a depth of up to 15 inches for ProAir. Check the selected size and latest product specifications.
Classic Cotton and Rayon from Bamboo
Tempur-Pedic describes Classic Cotton as long-staple cotton and its Rayon from Bamboo option as a stretchy jersey knit. Compare feel, pocket depth, care and current availability. A stretchy fabric or reinforced elastic can help with fit, but no sheet guarantees it will never shift.
Other brands
A properly sized fitted sheet from another brand can also work. For an example of a firsthand review, see our California Design Den sheets review. Confirm the specific set’s size and pocket depth rather than assuming all models fit the same way.

How to keep sheets in place
- Measure mattress height with all layers attached. A pocket that is too shallow can pop off; one that is much too deep may bunch.
- Lower the adjustable base flat and fit all four corners securely.
- Raise and lower the head and foot through the usual range while checking for pulled corners and pinched fabric.
- If using sheet straps, follow their instructions and keep straps, fabric and hands clear of the base’s hinges and moving parts.
- Inspect worn elastic and replace a sheet if it no longer grips securely.
Compare feel, care and returns
Choose cotton, rayon or a blend for the feel and maintenance you prefer. Fiber and weave affect texture; none guarantees an all-night sleeping temperature. Check the care label and the seller’s return policy, especially for opened or washed bedding. Yawnder’s own policies may differ from a manufacturer’s direct-sale terms.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need special adjustable-bed sheets?
Not necessarily. The important factors are the correct dimensions, adequate pocket depth and a secure fit during movement.
Will a king fitted sheet work on a split king?
Two separate fitted sheets allow the mattresses to move independently. A single king fitted sheet can restrict that movement or pull loose.
Are all deep-pocket sheets better?
No. Match the pocket to the actual height; excess fabric can bunch.
Can I use straps?
Some people do, but check compatibility and keep them clear of the base mechanism.
