Tulo Mattress Review: Original Mattress Firm Foam Testing Restored
The Tulo page had become a short current-brand stub even though Yawnder reviewed the original medium model and documented its unboxing, foam layers and firmness.
Three firmness choices
The original Tulo line was offered in soft, medium and firm. Yawnder received the medium version.
Medium skewed firm
The medium felt somewhat firm on first contact, but it still provided enough upper-layer give to relieve pressure once the body settled in.
Four-layer foam construction
The reviewed model used ventilated memory foam, responsive transition foams and a dense polyurethane support base.
Fast expansion
The mattress regained shape very quickly after unboxing, suggesting it had not spent an unusually long time compressed.
Retail-store advantage
One unusual benefit was being able to try the mattress at Mattress Firm before ordering—a bridge between boxed online mattresses and traditional store shopping.
Current-shopping note
Tulo’s current Mattress Firm lineup is different from the original model tested here. Compare the exact current foam/hybrid version rather than assuming the old construction remains unchanged.
