Thuma mattress: our verdict
Thuma is worth comparing if you want a mattress and frame from one brand, but buying its frame does not establish that its mattress is the best match for your body. Choose by firmness, height, total price and return terms. The current Hybrid Mattress combines memory foam, latex and pocketed coils; it differs from the older 10-inch foam model described in legacy Thuma FAQs.

All three include a listed 6-inch pocket-coil unit. Thuma lists 910 coils in a Queen Firm or Medium and 1,100 in a Queen Plush. Coil counts are size- and model-specific; a higher count alone does not establish superior comfort or durability. Prices are advertised starting figures, not Queen quotes. The checked Queen Medium listing showed $1,795. Select the exact size and feel before comparing checkout totals.
How to choose a feel
The manufacturer positions Firm for back or stomach sleepers, Medium for a broader range of positions, and Plush for side or combination sleepers. Treat these as shopping guidance rather than guarantees. Body size, preference and sensitivity to pressure all matter.
Memory foam and latex provide different response characteristics, while pocketed coils distinguish the current construction from an all-foam bed. Those ingredients do not give us measured cooling, pressure or motion-transfer results. CertiPUR-US applies to qualifying foam, and GOLS to the specified organic latex; neither means every component of the mattress is organic.
How to compare at home or in person: Lie on your side long enough to assess shoulder and hip pressure, then check back or stomach support in your normal position. If you share the bed, ask your partner to turn and get in and out while you remain still; also sit and lie near the edge. These practical checks are not standardized Yawnder measurements, but can help you decide which configuration deserves a closer look.
Material sensitivities: All three versions include latex and wool. If you have a latex allergy or a material sensitivity, discuss suitability with your clinician and ask Thuma about the exact materials before ordering.
Does a Thuma frame require its mattress?

Delivery, returns and warranty
Thuma advertises free shipping on orders over $1,000 to the contiguous United States and optional white-glove delivery for $295. Check the actual order total and selected service; a starting price below the shipping threshold does not establish free delivery.
Confirm the current mattress-specific return period, pickup process and any nonrefundable services before buying. A legacy Thuma FAQ describes a 100-day mattress trial and 30-day minimum, but also describes an older foam mattress. Confirm the return terms for the current Hybrid in writing; frame policies and the older FAQ may not apply.
The Hybrid Mattress warranty is 15 years, distinct from lifetime coverage on selected frames. It includes qualifying indentations of at least 1.5 inches subject to its conditions. The warranty says it covers the original purchaser buying directly from Thuma; keep proof of purchase, leave the law tag attached, and open the compressed mattress within 30 days.
