YAWNDER MATTRESS REVIEW
Review method: This guide evaluates Sweet Zzz’s published information for the Honey Hybrid. It does not report a hands-on test of this model. The earlier Sweet Zzz mattress Ben tested is a different design.
Our Verdict
The Sweet Zzz Honey Hybrid is a worthwhile candidate for shoppers who want latex over coils and a choice of four firmness levels. Its combination of cotton, wool and Dunlop latex has a different design from a conventional memory-foam hybrid. The most useful choice is the firmness, not simply the word “organic”: compare your preferred feel, the size and the seller’s return policy before buying.
We have not tested the Honey Hybrid itself, so we cannot independently rate its pressure relief, cooling, motion isolation or longevity. Try the selected version during the eligible trial and assess the certifications that matter to you.

Who Should Consider It?
- Shoppers who prefer a responsive latex-and-coil construction over memory foam.

- Shoppers who want a long trial beyond 100 nights or a tall pillow top.
- Anyone sensitive to latex: discuss the materials and individual circumstances with a qualified clinician before buying.
- Buyers expecting a mattress to treat back or hip pain.
Construction and Certifications
Sweet Zzz lists an organic cotton cover and fill, wool, GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex and individually wrapped steel coils. The Firm and Extra-Firm diagrams show additional firm latex layers. Construction varies with firmness, so confirm the exact model and size on the product page.
The company identifies the latex as GOLS-certified and advertises GREENGUARD Gold certification. A component’s certification is not automatically certification of the complete mattress. Request current certificates and confirm the product, materials and scope if certification is a deciding factor. Wool and cotton do not by themselves establish a medical or allergy benefit. Our GOTS vs. GOLS guide explains the differences between common organic certifications.
Latex generally responds more quickly than slow-moving memory foam, but this mattress’s overall feel depends on the selected firmness, cover and coil system. We have not measured its response or durability.
Choosing a Firmness
Medium-Soft
Consider this first if you sleep on your side and prefer more surface cushioning at the shoulder and hip. Sweet Zzz lists it as 11 inches high. A lighter sleeper may experience any firmness as firmer than a heavier sleeper does.
Medium-Firm
A practical starting point for mixed positions or couples seeking a middle ground. Check whether the mattress cushions pressure points while your hips feel comfortable and supported.
Firm and Plus Extra-Firm
These are candidates for people who prefer a sturdier feel. The brand positions the Plus as extra firm. Firmness is personal, so test the actual model in your normal position; extra firm does not automatically mean better support for everyone.
Construction by firmness and setup
Sweet Zzz lists 1,584 individually wrapped coils in a queen. The Medium-Soft and Medium-Firm versions use a latex comfort layer, while the Firm and Plus diagrams also list a firmer latex base layer. These are manufacturer descriptions rather than our measurements; coil counts and layer details alone cannot predict comfort or longevity.
The brand lists adjustable bases and slatted beds among compatible supports, provided the base is in good condition and provides sufficient support. Confirm the current requirements for your particular frame before ordering. Sweet Zzz also offers optional in-home setup or old-mattress removal starting at $99; availability and final charges can vary. Measure the bed height and sheet pockets for the firmness you choose.
Cooling, Motion and Edge Support
Latex, wool and coils are passive materials. They may contribute to airflow or moisture management, but they do not actively cool the bed and cannot guarantee an overnight temperature. Try the mattress with your normal protector and sheets.
Test movement with your partner and sit and lie near the edge. The coil construction and natural materials do not establish a measured Yawnder score for motion or edge support.
Honey Hybrid vs. Other Latex Hybrids
Compare the Honey’s firmness options, height and final delivered price with the Saatva Latex Hybrid or other latex hybrids. Materials, firmness and seller policies differ. When comparing certifications, ask whether the certificate covers a component or the entire mattress.
Yawnder’s earlier Sweet Zzz review preserves Ben’s experience with an older mattress. Those firsthand observations do not establish how the current Honey Hybrid feels.
Price, Trial and Warranty
On October 29, 2026, Sweet Zzz listed queen Medium-Firm and Firm at $1,299 each, and queen Medium-Soft and Plus Extra-Firm at $1,399 each. These are direct promotional prices, not permanent prices; sizes, options and offers can change. Check the exact configuration and total delivered price before comparing offers. Sweet Zzz advertises a 100-night direct trial starting on delivery and asks buyers to try the mattress for at least 30 nights before initiating a return. Its page says the trial is available once per customer; verify current eligibility, any fees and return logistics in the written policy.
The brand offers a limited lifetime warranty for qualifying defects to the original buyer. Check the written coverage, foundation requirements and claims process. Warranty duration is not a guarantee of comfort for life, and retailers may have different return rules.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Honey Hybrid all latex?
No. Sweet Zzz describes latex comfort layers over individually wrapped steel coils, with cotton and wool components.
Is every part certified organic?
The manufacturer identifies specific organic materials and GOLS-certified latex. That does not establish that every part or the completed mattress carries an organic certification; request the relevant certificate.
How tall is it?
Sweet Zzz lists Medium-Soft as 11 inches and the other versions as 10 inches. Product descriptions and customer experiences can differ, so confirm the selected version before purchasing sheets or a frame.
Can it cure back pain?
No mattress is a proven cure. Comfort is individual; seek medical advice for persistent or worsening pain.
Our Final Take
The Honey Hybrid offers a broad range of latex-hybrid firmness choices. Compare the exact construction and delivered price, verify certification scope and test your chosen feel during the eligible trial.
