If you search for a “Stearns & Foster Ultra Firm mattress,” you’ll find older Lux Estate products and current mattresses using Firm and Pillow Top Firm terminology. These are not interchangeable products. Before trusting any review, compare the model code, collection and production generation—not just a firmness adjective.

Ultra Firm vs Firm: why the label is confusing
A mattress’s initial surface hardness is not the same thing as its deep support.
