SleepDog is worth comparing if you need a foam mattress in a shorter RV size or a narrow sleeper-berth size. Its low-profile options may be practical where a residential mattress is too tall or too long. The crucial step is measuring the actual platform before ordering.
The brand’s return policy excludes incorrectly ordered mattresses. A sleep trial should not be treated as a way to discover whether a chosen size fits your camper.

The listed RV Queen measures 60 × 75 inches, while the standard Queen is 60 × 80 inches. The listed RV King is 72 × 75 inches. “RV Queen” and “RV King” are not universal vehicle fit guarantees.
Measure more than length and width
Measure the entire sleeping deck, including rounded or angled corners, wall taper and access space. Check clearance for slide-outs in both travel and sleeping positions. Account for the mattress height when opening cabinets or climbing into a bunk.
If the bed platform lifts for storage, ask the vehicle or lift-system manufacturer whether the new mattress weight and thickness are compatible. A mattress sold for an RV does not automatically suit every storage-lift mechanism.
For comfort, side sleepers should investigate cushioning above the support core; back and stomach sleepers should check pelvis support. BigDawg’s extra cover layer is a construction difference, not a guarantee that every sleeper will prefer it.
Confirm foundation requirements and follow the vehicle’s ventilation and moisture-management guidance. Do not assume foam on any existing deck is an appropriate installation.
120-night trial with a 60-day minimum
The direct return policy requires a full 60-day trial before requesting authorization, with the request made by day 120. It says there is no restocking or reshipping fee for eligible mattress returns, but excludes size or model ordering mistakes and does not offer exchanges for another mattress.
Stains, rips, damage or missing law tags can disqualify a return. Pillows, sheets, protectors and toppers are excluded from the mattress trial. Contact SleepDog for authorization before shipping or disposing of the mattress.
The product pages advertise a 10-year limited warranty. Review the complete defect coverage, support requirements and claim costs for the exact model. Warranty coverage and comfort returns are separate. Confirm different terms if purchasing through another seller.
Compare the complete RV replacement
Request a size-specific total rather than using the lowest displayed price. Include delivery, a compatible protector and any needed foundation changes. For unusual shapes or cutouts, compare a supplier that explicitly accepts custom measurements; do not alter a standard mattress without written guidance about consequences for coverage.
