Nectar Mattress Reviews, Tested & Ranked (2026)

Nectar's naming has shifted over the years — the old Premier Copper is now simply the Luxe — so a lot of the reviews you will find online rank models that no longer exist at prices that are years stale. What follows is the current five-model lineup, priced this week off Nectar's own size pages, ranked by who each one actually suits.

The short version: the hybrids are better beds than the all-foam models at every tier, and the price gap between them is smaller than you would expect.

The whole lineup, priced

1. Best overall — Nectar Classic Hybrid, $849 Queen

This is the model we would buy with our own money. It keeps the familiar Nectar comfort layer — soft-leaning medium, roughly a 6 out of 10 — and puts it over a pocketed coil unit instead of dense support foam. Three things improve immediately: air moves through the coil layer so the bed does not hold heat the way the all-foam models do; the perimeter holds up when you sit on the edge; and the support under your hips does not fade as the foam warms.

At $849 for a Queen it is $150 more than the all-foam Classic. There is no upgrade anywhere in this lineup that returns more for the money.

2. Best value — Nectar Classic, $699 Queen

The bed that built the brand: 12″ of gel memory foam, excellent motion isolation, and a price no established competitor matches with a lifetime warranty attached. Side sleepers under about 230 lb get genuine pressure relief at the shoulder and hip, and anyone sharing a bed with a restless partner will appreciate how completely foam absorbs movement.

Two caveats, both real. It sleeps warm — the cooling cover is a surface effect, not airflow. And edge support is modest, so sitting on the perimeter compresses it noticeably. For a guest room, a kid's room or a first apartment, none of that matters much and it is an easy recommendation.

3. Best for hot sleepers and heavier sleepers — Nectar Luxe Hybrid, $1,649 Queen

The flagship, and the only Nectar we would put a heavier sleeper on without hesitation. Fourteen inches of build over a reinforced coil unit means the support does not run out under concentrated weight, and the coil layer gives heat somewhere to go. Couples with mixed sleep positions do better here than anywhere else in the lineup, because the extra comfort layers absorb a side sleeper's shoulder while the coils still hold a back sleeper's hips.

It is also where Nectar stops being cheap. At $1,649 for a Queen you are $246 below a Saatva Classic, which is a coil-on-coil innerspring with three firmness options and white glove delivery included. Price both before you decide.

4. Best deep hug — Nectar Luxe, $1,399 Queen

If what you actually want from memory foam is the sink-in, contoured, slow-response feel — and you do not sleep hot — the all-foam Luxe delivers it more completely than any other model here. Fourteen inches of foam means a deeper cradle than the Classic can produce, and pressure relief for side sleepers is the best in the lineup.

It is the warmest bed Nectar makes, though, and it is not the right choice above roughly 230 lb. Buy it because you love the feel, not because it is the most expensive foam model.

5. Skip — Nectar Premier, $999 Queen

The Premier is not a bad mattress. It is an awkwardly positioned one. At $999 for a Queen it costs $150 more than the Classic Hybrid while giving up the coil layer that makes the Hybrid cooler and better supported. You get one more inch of foam and a nicer cover for the money.

If you have decided on all-foam and want more than the Classic, the jump that makes sense is to the Luxe at $1,399, not the Premier. Otherwise buy the Classic Hybrid and keep the difference.

What every Nectar has in common

All five models ship free, compressed in a box, in roughly 2–7 days. All five carry a 365-night trial with free returns, which is the strongest reason to risk buying a bed you have never touched. All five carry the Forever Warranty — a lifetime limited warranty covering sagging beyond an inch — and all five require an adequate foundation with center support at Queen and above, so a slatted frame without a center leg can void a claim.

The 30-day price match is the one buyers forget. If the sale price drops within 30 days of your order, contact support for the difference. Given how often the promotion rotates, set a reminder.

When to buy something else

Nectar has no answer for two buyers. The first is anyone who needs the mattress carried into the bedroom and the old one hauled away — every Nectar arrives as a box you move yourself. The second is a stomach sleeper, or anyone who needs to choose a firmness rather than accept the single feel Nectar builds per model. Both point to the Saatva Classic at $1,895 for a Queen: coil-on-coil support, three firmness options, and white glove delivery with removal included.
