Is Loftie Worth It?
Loftie is best considered as a way to move alarms and bedtime audio off your phone. Decide whether that convenience justifies the cost compared with a basic alarm clock.
For other options, see our Loftie alternatives guide.
Setup and Controls
Initial setup uses the Loftie app and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. After setup, a no-Wi-Fi mode is available. The clock also works as a Bluetooth speaker.
Configure and test your alarm before relying on it. This review does not include an independent privacy or network-security audit.
Review Basis
This update focuses on documented features and buying considerations. We removed unverified press quotations and unsupported testing claims. A separate clock may help you leave your phone out of reach, but we do not claim a measured improvement in sleep.
Tradeoffs
- Initial setup still requires a smartphone.
- The built-in light is a nightlight. Sunrise lighting requires the separate Loftie Lamp.
- The backup battery is for interruptions, not routine cordless use.
- A basic clock costs less if you only need an alarm.
Sounds and Subscription
Loftie advertises 100+ included audio tracks without a required subscription and a two-stage wake-up alarm.
Choose a sound you enjoy at a comfortable volume. Consider whether you need a large catalog or normally use just one track.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Loftie a sunrise alarm?
The clock itself has a nightlight; the sunrise lamp is a separate purchase.
Does the sound library require a membership?
No membership is required for the included sound library.
Can I try it at Yawnder?
Yawnder’s Encinitas showroom primarily focuses on mattresses, so do not assume Loftie is available for demonstration. Check with a retailer that stocks the clock if you want to try it in person.
Live pricing, current promotions, and full manufacturer warranty through our affiliate partner. Buying through this link supports Yawnder’s independent testing at no extra cost to you.
