How Bía says it works
The company says its fNIRS system uses near-infrared light to measure aspects of brain activity, and that neurofeedback audio responds to those signals. Bía also lists bone-conduction audio, full-spectrum LEDs, a microphone, temperature and light sensors, and an accelerometer. A temperature sensor alone does not establish active heating or cooling.
Earlier versions of this article described dry-EEG sensors and thermal modules; those descriptions were not verified and have been removed. We have not independently tested Bía's sleep-stage accuracy or its ability to alter sleep.
Can it double deep sleep?
Bía advertises that its soundscapes can double deep sleep and reduce awakenings. Those are the company's claims. Ask for the study design, number of participants, measurement method and independent replication before relying on them; results for an individual may differ. Consumer sleep-stage estimates are not the same as a clinical sleep study.
Bía says the mask is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose or treat a condition. If you have persistent insomnia, loud snoring, breathing pauses or daytime sleepiness, discuss them with a healthcare professional.
Fit, audio and daily use
Bía describes a contoured eye area, adjustable strap and side-sleeper-oriented design. Those details are useful starting points, but how much light enters and whether the side of the mask presses against a pillow depend on your face, position and pillow. We cannot independently rate comfort, blackout performance or stability overnight.
The brand lists an app for iOS and Android and describes Bluetooth streaming among subscription features. Its product page also says the device does not need a continuous Bluetooth connection overnight, although connectivity is needed for certain tasks. Confirm phone compatibility, which features work at launch, battery life and the subscription terms before buying.
Bía says the electronics can be removed before washing the remaining layers and laying them flat to dry. Follow the care instructions supplied with your device. If you use CPAP or another sleep device, ask Bía about your specific setup and check the return terms; we have not tested compatibility.

On October 26, 2026, the product page showed Early Bird at $499, Premium at $599, and Ultra at $1,699, and said new orders were shipping in March 2027. Packages include a listed lifetime subscription, while extras differ. These are a dated snapshot; check the live offer and selected package.
The product page advertises returns within 60 days after receipt. The preorder policy also describes limitations for Premium and Ultra after a beta mask ships. It says preorders authorize a charge when placed. Confirm what is refundable, potential shipping or duties and the current delivery estimate in writing before ordering.
