WonderSleep Gummies Review: Ingredients, Side Effects & Value

Ben
Wondersleep

Plant People WonderSleep Gummies are a melatonin-free blend of reishi, GABA and botanicals. That may appeal to people avoiding melatonin, but it does not establish better sleep or freedom from next-day drowsiness. The most useful details are the actual label, serving size and distinction between extract amounts and herbal-equivalent marketing.

By Ben Trapskin, founder of Yawnder. Updated October 18, 2026. This is a label- and research-based editorial review, not a verified personal sleep trial or independent laboratory test.

Quick verdict

Consider WonderSleep if you specifically want to compare a melatonin-free gummy with multiple botanical ingredients. The main tradeoffs are limited grounds for predicting individual sleep benefits, possible ingredient interactions, and sugar alcohols in the formula. We have removed the old “best for sleep” claim and the claim that these gummies contain no sugar alcohols.

What is in WonderSleep?

The current manufacturer label shows two gummies per serving, 30 servings per pouch. The listed amounts are:

IngredientPer two gummies
Reishi fruiting body200 mg
GABA88 mg
Saffron stigma60 mg
Passionflower aerial tops60 mg
Chamomile flower60 mg
Corydalis rhizome50 mg

What does the 4,300 mg claim mean? The product page uses herbal-equivalent language and identifies 10:1 extracts. The botanical amounts listed above total 430 mg; applying a 10:1 ratio corresponds to 4,300 mg of botanical equivalent. That is not 4,300 mg of actual extract mass in a serving, nor proof of stronger clinical effects. GABA is listed separately.

The page’s marketing graphic says 100 mg GABA, while the Supplement Facts image says 88 mg. We use the panel’s 88 mg here and flag the discrepancy; confirm the package you receive with the manufacturer.

Sugar-free does not mean sugar-alcohol-free. Maltitol and isomalt appear in the current ingredient list. The brand also describes the product as vegan and gluten-free. Review the complete current package for your dietary needs rather than relying on broad “clean ingredient” wording.

Does the evidence support the claims?

Plant People markets WonderSleep for sleep and recovery and displays a customer self-report survey. A survey can describe respondents’ experiences, but it does not establish that the formula caused better sleep, improved REM sleep or a “nervous system reset.” Studies of an individual botanical also cannot automatically validate a combined gummy at different amounts.

The reviewed material does not establish that this finished formula treats insomnia, anxiety or depression. We have removed claims describing it as a reliable treatment and have not assigned an effectiveness score. Persistent sleep problems warrant evaluation; CBT-I is recommended as an initial treatment for chronic insomnia.

Directions, side effects and precautions

The current product page directs two gummies about 30 minutes before bed. That corrects the old one-gummy instruction, but the timing is manufacturer guidance rather than a guarantee of falling asleep within 30 minutes. Follow the directions on your current package.

Melatonin-free products can still cause unwanted effects or interact with medication. Discuss this multi-ingredient blend with a clinician or pharmacist if you take medication, have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or use other calming supplements. Do not drive if drowsy, and keep gummies away from children.

Maltitol and isomalt are sugar alcohols. FDA notes that sugar alcohols can cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as gas or diarrhea in some people. Consider your tolerance when comparing a sugar-free gummy with other formats.

Price and alternatives

At our October 18, 2026 check, the official page listed $34.99 for 60 gummies, or about $1.17 per two-gummy serving. It separately displayed a $27.99 subscription price, about $0.93 per serving. Promotions, shipping and recurring terms can change; compare your final checkout selection.

Common questions

Does WonderSleep contain melatonin?

The checked label and product page describe it as melatonin-free. That does not guarantee no side effects or no grogginess.

Does it contain sugar alcohols?

Yes. The current ingredient list includes maltitol and isomalt.

Is 4,300 mg the actual extract weight?

No. The page uses herbal-equivalent and 10:1 extract language. The listed botanical amounts total 430 mg, with GABA listed separately.

How much GABA does it contain?

The current Supplement Facts image lists 88 mg per serving, while another marketing graphic says 100 mg. Confirm the label on your pouch.

For context on melatonin-free ingredients, see our melatonin alternatives guide. Melatonin-free does not mean free of side effects or interactions.

Sources and review approach

We checked the official product page and Supplement Facts, the FDA sugar-alcohol guide and NCCIH’s sleep overview. Manufacturer claims are distinguished from established outcomes; label conflicts are disclosed rather than resolved by assumption.
