YAWNDER BUYING COMPARISON · OCTOBER 2026

Quick verdict
Choose Titan Plus Core if you want a firmer, simpler hybrid with fewer comfort layers. Choose Titan Plus Elite if you want a more cushioned, medium-firm surface with a cooling pillow top and an added layer of microcoils. Both are designed with larger-bodied sleepers in mind, but body weight alone cannot predict comfort.
Titan Plus Core vs Titan Plus Elite: at a glance
| Feature | Plus Core | Plus Elite |
|---|---|---|
| Manufacturer feel | Firm | Medium-firm |
| Construction | Foam comfort layers over TitanCore pocketed coils | Pillow top and foam over microcoils and TitanCore pocketed coils |

| Profile | 12 inches on Titan’s product page; 11 inches in Brooklyn Bedding’s model guide | 14 inches on Titan’s product page; 14.5 inches in Brooklyn Bedding’s model guide |
| Best starting point | Firm feel and simpler build | More cushioning with a substantial support core |
Titan’s product page lists the Core at 12 inches, while Brooklyn Bedding’s model guide lists 11 inches. Confirm the height of the version you order. Titan’s Elite product page lists 14 inches, while the same Brooklyn Bedding guide lists 14.5 inches. Verify both measurements before selecting sheets or a foundation.
Firmness and pressure relief
Titan describes the Core as firm and positions it for back and stomach sleepers. That flatter, more resistant surface is a sensible starting point if you dislike a deep pillow-top feel. It may feel too hard at the shoulder or hip for some side sleepers, especially lighter people.
The Elite adds a pillow top and microcoils above its main support unit. Titan describes it as medium-firm and highlights side and combination sleepers. The extra surface cushioning may be appealing if you want support without the Core’s firmer initial feel. Firmness is subjective: test in your normal sleeping position if possible.
Construction and support
The Core combines a quilted gel-foam top and TitanFlex foam with an eight-inch TitanCore coil unit. The Elite adds a GlacioTex+ pillow top, TitanFlex, microcoils and transition foam above its eight-inch TitanCore coil unit. More layers do not automatically mean better alignment or a longer lifespan for every sleeper; the important question is whether the surface and support feel right together.
Both are marketed toward larger sleepers. Titan’s published Elite pages contain inconsistent capacity figures, so confirm the limit for your exact model and size with the seller. The capacity of the mattress and the capacity of an adjustable base are separate considerations. Our adjustable-bed weight limit guide explains what to include when checking the base rating.
Cooling and motion transfer
The Core has an optional GlacioTex cover, while the Elite includes a cooling pillow top. Compare the Core with and without the upgrade when looking at price. A cool-to-the-touch fabric can feel pleasant at first, but it does not guarantee a cooler night; sheets, room temperature and the sleeper also matter.
Both use individually encased coils and foam, but we have not established a controlled side-by-side motion-isolation result for these exact configurations. If you share a bed, try changing positions and getting in and out while your partner lies on the other side.
Price, delivery and return terms
Compare the same size and include the Core cooling-cover upgrade if you want it. Check the live product pages for the current total, delivery and available financing rather than relying on a sale percentage. The Elite is the more elaborate model, but its value depends on whether you want its feel and features.
For eligible Yawnder mattress orders, the Yawnder return policy describes a 100-night trial with a 30-night minimum and a $200 per-mattress return processing fee. The fee is waived for an eligible exchange to a different Yawnder mattress; any price difference applies and the replacement is final sale. Exclusions, including floor models, apply. Check the written terms and eligibility before ordering. Manufacturer-direct terms may differ.
