Our Verdict

Choose the Titan Plus Core if you want a distinctly firm hybrid designed for larger bodies. Choose the Nolah Evolution Comfort+ if you want a plus-size hybrid with a more cushioned, medium-range feel. Both use foam and coils, but their comfort targets differ.

Firmness and support are separate considerations. A heavier side sleeper may appreciate more cushioning at the shoulder and hip; someone who prefers a very firm surface may favor the Titan. Try the specific configuration and check your foundation and purchase terms before deciding.

Firmness and Feel

Titan describes the Core as firm. Nolah says many Comfort+ owners rate it around 5–6 out of 10. These descriptions suggest different starting points, but they are not a matched test: perceived firmness changes with body weight, sleep position and the chosen cover.

Side sleepers: Start with Comfort+ if you want more cushioning for your shoulder and hip. If the Titan feels comfortable in your usual position, a firm surface can still be your preference.

Back sleepers: Compare the Titan if you like a firm surface and the Nolah if you prefer more surface give. Check that your lower back feels supported and your hips remain comfortable.

Stomach sleepers: A firm surface may help some people avoid uncomfortable hip sink. Try the Titan first if that is your preference, then compare the Nolah.

Construction and Support

Titan lists firm comfort foam above an 8-inch individually encased TitanCore coil unit. Nolah describes the Comfort+ as using responsive foams and a reinforced HDMax coil system. Each is a hybrid designed with larger sleepers in mind.

Do not choose solely by coil height or the number of layers. The right mattress should support your body while providing enough comfort for your usual positions. Sit and lie near the edge, then try turning over; a strong support core does not guarantee the same edge feel for every sleeper.

Weight Capacity and Foundation

Titan states that the Core design supports over 1,200 pounds. Nolah’s support guidance says all Comfort+ sizes support up to 1,000 pounds. These are manufacturer statements with different wording, so confirm the limit for your size and whether it refers to combined weight before ordering.

Check the weight capacity of your frame or adjustable base as well. Follow the manufacturer’s current rules for slat spacing, center support and mattress compatibility; a mattress rating does not override a lower base rating.

Cooling Options and Height

Titan offers an optional GlacioTex cover. Nolah offers a GlacioTex pillow-top upgrade that adds cushioning as well as a cool-to-the-touch surface. Compare the final price and comfort of the options you want. Neither is a powered cooling system; room temperature, bedding and body heat influence the result.

Titan’s Core product page lists 12 inches, while Brooklyn Bedding’s model guide lists 11 inches. Confirm the version with your seller. Nolah’s size guide lists Comfort+ at 13 inches standard or 14 inches with the cooling pillow top. Confirm your chosen configuration before buying sheets or planning bed height. Our bed-height guide explains how to measure the complete setup.

Motion, Edge Support and Couples

For couples, try the mattresses together. Have one person change positions while the other lies still, and sit and lie close to the edge. Individually wrapped coils and foam can influence motion, but construction alone does not establish which model will work better for a particular couple.

This comparison uses published specifications and does not claim a new controlled head-to-head test. For a related model, see Nolah Comfort+ vs. Titan Plus Elite; the Elite is a different Titan mattress.

The fee is waived for an eligible exchange to another Yawnder mattress, with any price difference due; the replacement is final sale. Floor models and other exclusions apply. Review your order terms before purchasing.
