Quick verdict: who should consider Deep Zzzs?

Deep Zzzs is a cannabinoid product to evaluate cautiously, not a proven universal insomnia treatment. Its ingredient amounts are disclosed and the brand publishes batch reports, but those points do not establish clinical effectiveness or suitability for you.

Original vs. Extra Strength: amounts per gummy

These amounts come from the current manufacturer product page. “Extra Strength” is not exactly double every ingredient: compare the numbers rather than relying on a potency badge. Both are described as melatonin-free. The separately marketed Pure Sleep line is a different product; do not transfer its claims or label to Deep Zzzs.

The listed other ingredients include tapioca syrup, organic cane sugar, water, fruit pectin, natural flavors, cannabinoid ingredients, acids and natural colors. Check the complete label for dietary needs. This review does not independently verify batch potency.

What does the research actually show?

Slumber’s study summary describes a partnership with MoreBetter involving more than 500 participants, with seven baseline days followed by 21 days using Deep Zzzs. It reports improvements including 72 additional minutes of sleep. These are brand-reported findings; the summary does not establish a randomized, blinded, placebo-controlled comparison.

The page presents app-based monitoring language and also says results are based on participant self-reporting. It displays differing “preferred over other sleep aids” percentages in different sections. Those reporting limits make it inappropriate to promise the same improvement to a buyer or to treat the figures as proof of increased deep or REM sleep.

There is published cannabinoid research, so describing all CBN evidence as purely anecdotal would also be too broad. A randomized seven-night trial found that 20 mg CBN reduced some measures of awakenings and sleep disturbance, while the primary sleep-quality result was not statistically significant. That dose and formulation differ from these gummies; the result does not establish Deep Zzzs’ effectiveness or validate the brand’s 72-minute claim.

NCCIH’s overview describes limitations in cannabinoid sleep research. Persistent insomnia warrants professional assessment; a product testimonial or consumer sleep tracker is not a diagnosis or controlled trial.

THC, side effects and precautions

Three or five milligrams of THC per gummy is not the same as zero THC. A hemp-derived label or percentage claim should not be interpreted as a promise of no intoxication, impairment or drug-testing risk. Avoid this product if you must avoid THC; no batch report can guarantee a particular workplace test result.

Cannabinoids can affect alertness, and CBD can interact with medicines and has been associated with liver injury. Do not drive or operate machinery after taking an impairing product, and do not combine it with alcohol or sedating products without medical advice. Ask a clinician or pharmacist about medications and medical conditions. Avoid cannabis products during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and store gummies securely away from children and pets.

Follow the exact current package directions rather than increasing the amount to reproduce a study or treating the brand’s suggested timing as a guaranteed onset. The review no longer promises no grogginess, no tolerance or no dependency.

How to read the lab reports

Use Slumber’s actual lab-results and certificate-of-analysis page. Match the product and batch number to your bottle, inspect the date, cannabinoid amounts and contaminants tested. A report for another batch is not verification of yours, and potency testing does not establish sleep benefits.

Price and subscription comparison

At our October 18, 2026 check, the product selector listed Original at $60 try-once or $45 subscription for 30 gummies: $2 or $1.50 per gummy before any other charges. Extra Strength displayed a $64 reference and $48 subscription offer, equivalent to about $2.13 or $1.60 per gummy. Confirm the selected formula and final checkout price; promotional displays and terms can change.

The current subscription offer describes 25% savings and recurring delivery options. That corrects the old blanket claim of approximately 30% off. Compare renewal terms, delivery frequency and shipping rather than assuming an introductory offer applies indefinitely.

Shipping restrictions and refund conditions

The manufacturer’s current page says Original and Extra Strength cannot be shipped to Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Idaho, Minnesota, Oregon, Tennessee, Vermont or Washington. This is the merchant’s published shipping policy, not a comprehensive statement of cannabis law. Recheck eligibility before ordering.

The page currently asks buyers to allow 3–5 business days for processing, so the older one-day processing promise has been removed. Processing time is separate from delivery time.

The refund policy includes conditions that matter:

• The satisfaction guarantee applies to first-time purchases made directly from Slumber; sleep kits and sample packs are excluded.
• It requires a minimum two-week trial, with claims subject to review.
• Shipping charges are excluded, and return shipping may be the customer’s responsibility.
