Pillow Cube Mattress Review: Original Side-Sleeper Review Restored
This page had been reduced to a short generic summary even though the backup still contained the original Yawnder side-sleeper review, construction images and fit observations.

Why this mattress was different
Pillow Cube built this mattress around side sleepers rather than trying to create one universal feel for every position. The key idea was extra shoulder accommodation paired with more support under the hips and torso.
That focus mattered in our testing because shoulder pressure is one of the most common reasons I roll off my side and onto my stomach during the night. The original Pillow Cube mattress was designed specifically around that problem.

Construction and zoning
The reviewed model used a hybrid construction with foam over a coil support system. The mattress was zoned so the shoulder area could compress more readily while the center of the mattress provided more resistance under the hips.
The comfort system used a softer foam layer above denser transitional material, while the coil unit supplied the deeper support and responsiveness. Reinforced perimeter support helped keep the edge from feeling overly soft.

Our side-sleeper takeaway
The strongest part of the original review was the way the mattress addressed the shoulder instead of simply making the entire bed softer. More sink at the shoulder combined with firmer support elsewhere helped side sleeping feel more sustainable over longer stretches.
In my experience, pairing the mattress with the Pillow Cube pillow made the design concept more coherent because both products were trying to maintain side-sleeping alignment from the neck through the torso.

Who it made the most sense for
Best match
Dedicated side sleepers who struggle with shoulder pressure and want a hybrid feel rather than a slow all-foam mattress.
Less compelling for
People who rarely sleep on their side or who prefer a uniformly firm, flat sleep surface.
Current-shopping note
Pillow Cube’s mattress lineup and policies may have changed, so use the restored review primarily to understand the original side-sleeper design and Yawnder’s experience with it rather than relying on old prices or trial terms.
