Nest Bedding Starling Mattress Review: Construction & Original Detail Restored
The live Starling page had been reduced to a stub even though the backup still contained detailed construction information, original imagery and a video overview.
What the Starling used
The original Starling Signature Contour Grid mattress combined a phase-change cooling cover with Energex responsive foam, graphite-infused slow-response memory foam, a contour-grid support layer, transitional foam and a dense base. That layered design was intended to combine contouring with quicker recovery than a traditional all-memory-foam mattress.
Dual-feel comfort concept
The older review described a comfort system that mixed a more responsive upper foam with a slower pressure-relieving layer. The useful takeaway is that the design aimed for pressure relief without making the mattress feel completely sluggish.
Cooling and airflow
The Starling relied on its cover, responsive foams and sculpted support layers to manage airflow. Those construction details are restored here because they explain the mattress much better than the abbreviated replacement page.

Current-shopping note
Nest has changed its lineup over time, so shoppers should verify whether the Starling name and exact construction are still current before buying.
