Feel, firmness and sleeping position
The Lull’s memory-foam surface is designed to contour over a foam support core. DreamCloud combines a quilted foam top with pocketed coils. The difference is a useful starting point for someone deciding between a closer foam feel and a hybrid, but actual firmness depends on the sleeper, current build and support underneath.
Back sleepers may prefer a balanced surface that does not let their hips sink excessively. Side sleepers often look for cushioning at the shoulder and hip, while stomach sleepers may want a more supportive surface. These are starting points, not guarantees: body size, individual preference and the whole bed setup matter. Try each mattress when possible and use an appropriate foundation.

Cooling, movement and edge support
Coils leave room for airflow within a mattress; foam, cover, protector, bedding and room conditions affect the temperature you experience. Gel or cooling fibers are not proof that either bed will stay cool all night, and we do not have a controlled comparison establishing a winner here.
Foam can absorb motion while individually wrapped coils can respond separately, but a specific mattress’s motion isolation and edge stability depend on its complete design. Couples should check how the mattress feels when one person moves and how the edge supports sitting or sleeping near the perimeter. We do not assign a comparative numerical score without documented tests.
Price, trial and warranty details
When checked, the queen Original Lull was $776 and the queen DreamCloud Classic Hybrid was $699 on their respective direct sites. These are time-specific promotional prices; neither brand is always cheaper. Confirm the exact model, size, delivery, discounts and any extras at checkout.
Lull direct
Lull’s published policy provides 365 nights after delivery and requires at least 60 nights before requesting a return. It says the refund is reduced by processing fees estimated at 10% of the mattress retail price, subject to variation by market and geography. The mattress must meet the policy’s condition and other requirements. Its limited lifetime warranty covers specified defects and has exclusions.
DreamCloud direct
DreamCloud advertises a 365-night trial and Forever Warranty. Its trial terms say a return request for an opened mattress may be made after 30 days and within 365 days of delivery; condition and eligibility requirements apply. The brand advertises free shipping and returns. Review the full policy and warranty for the exact order.
