I originally reviewed Saatva’s Lineal adjustable base, including its remote, massage and delivery setup. Saatva’s current lineup uses the names Adjustable Base and Adjustable Base Plus, so this guide separates my experience with the older Lineal from details of the models sold today.

My verdict on the original Lineal
I liked the Lineal’s straightforward remote, quiet massage motor and useful touches such as under-bed lighting. The TV position was convenient for sitting up in bed, and saved settings were a nice option. It made sense for shoppers who wanted those extras; anyone who only needs head and foot elevation may prefer a simpler base.
My original Lineal experience
The queen base arrived in a box about the size of the bed, with parts underneath. Setup was included in the purchase I reviewed. The remote offered position controls and a TV setting that raised the head and lifted the feet slightly, so my knees did not block the view.
The massage had a wave setting that moved the vibration from the feet toward the head and back. I also appreciated the under-bed light and the small flashlight built into the remote. The clear retainer bar helped keep the mattress in place. The photos and video show that earlier Lineal, not necessarily the current Plus model.

Current Saatva bases: which features differ?
Saatva now lists the Adjustable Base and Adjustable Base Plus. They are different products from the earlier Lineal review, so check the current listing rather than assuming that the original remote or measurements are unchanged.

For the Plus, Saatva lists a wireless remote, head and foot controls, zero-gravity and anti-snore presets, wave massage and zero-clearance use. Features can change by size or generation. Head elevation may feel comfortable for some people, but it is not a substitute for medical treatment of snoring or reflux.
Fit, size and compatibility
Measure the room, frame interior and total height with your mattress. Saatva lists an 850-pound total capacity for its current adjustable bases; confirm the limit for your chosen size and include the mattress and occupants in that total.
Saatva says the current Plus works with its compatible mattresses but excludes the 14.5-inch Saatva Classic, Saatva Youth and crib mattress. It also excludes some frames, including its storage frames and Sydney. For a different brand, check the mattress and frame manufacturers’ compatibility requirements before ordering.
A standard king generally moves together. Split king uses two Twin XL mattresses so each side can move separately; Upper-Flex uses a compatible split-head mattress for independent head movement. Verify the exact pairing before buying.
Price, delivery and returns
Base prices change by size and promotion. Compare the delivered total and check whether the quote includes split pieces, setup or optional accessories. Saatva currently advertises in-room delivery and assembly for its adjustable bases.
Saatva says its adjustable bases are final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges. That differs from the trial for eligible Saatva mattresses. Verify the written policy for your seller before checkout. The company lists a 25-year limited warranty for the Plus and 10 years for the standard base, with coverage and exclusions that change over time; read the full warranty for parts, labor and service conditions.
