What makes the Gisele fabric different?

The classic long Gisele set lists 95% LENZING TENCEL™ Modal and 5% elastane. Modal is a regenerated cellulosic fiber; the small elastane component adds give to the knitted fabric. Compared with a crisp woven cotton pajama, this type of jersey fabric is intended to hang closer to the body and move more fluidly.

Eberjey describes the fabric as breathable and says the set is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 verified. That certification is relevant to testing for certain harmful substances; it should not be confused with proof that the pajamas are organic, zero-impact or better at cooling than every competing product.

Some customers on Eberjey’s product page describe the pants as long for shorter wearers. That’s a reason to compare your preferred pajama inseam against the published 30.5-inch length, not an instruction to automatically size down. For a gift, the recipient’s usual size and preferred loose-versus-neat fit are more useful than guessing by height alone.

Our interpretation: Customer sentiment supports Gisele’s reputation for softness and recognizable styling. It does not establish that the pajamas outperform alternatives in laboratory cooling tests, long-term pilling, or durability after repeated washing. Care instructions and the durability question

Eberjey recommends turning the garment inside out, machine washing in cold water on a gentle cycle with similar colors, and tumble drying on low. Follow the sewn-in care label for your specific set. A soft fine-knit fabric may need different care than a sturdy woven pajama.

What we cannot verify from published specifications is how the waistband, seams, color and fabric surface will perform after dozens of real-world wash cycles.
