120-night trial: understand the refund process
DLX’s trial details specify 120 days from delivery and at least 30 nights of use before working toward a comfort solution or refund. Eligibility is limited to the original purchaser and one refund per household. Stained, damaged or unsanitary mattresses, special-order sizes and several other exclusions do not qualify.
The important logistical detail: DLX says it does not take mattress returns or remove the mattress from your home. Its refund process requires donation and proof that the mattress has been removed. Contact DLX for its instructions before arranging disposal or removing labels; keep law tags intact during normal trial use.
If local charities will not accept a used mattress, ask DLX how that situation is handled before purchasing. Read the return policy alongside the trial page. A trial is only useful if you can complete its requirements.
Lifetime warranty versus comfort assurance
The limited warranty covers specified defects, including qualifying impressions greater than 1.5 inches. In the first 10 years DLX describes repair or replacement without a mattress charge, excluding transportation or disposal costs; later coverage is prorated. Normal firmness changes and preference changes are excluded.
Comfort Assurance is a separate discounted replacement program: a same-type, size and style replacement at 50% off the current retail price, excluding promotions, with transportation costs paid by the purchaser. It is not a free lifetime exchange or a promise that the mattress never wears out.
