The manufacturer marketed the Dream Blanket as a textile infused with microencapsulated CBD. The original product description said friction would break microscopic capsules bonded to the yarn and release CBD onto the skin.
That describes the manufacturer’s delivery concept. It does not establish how much CBD reached the skin, how much entered the bloodstream, or whether the blanket produced a clinically meaningful effect.

We could evaluate the blanket as a blanket: fabric feel, thickness, construction, packaging and care requirements. The reviewed blanket was relatively thin and easy to layer.
We could not verify a therapeutic CBD dose, transdermal absorption, anxiety relief, pain relief or a sleep benefit from the textile itself.
What current evidence says about consumer CBD claims
The FDA says that, aside from the prescription drug Epidiolex for specific seizure disorders, consumer CBD products have not been FDA-approved to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.
