Our verdict
RV Mattress by Brooklyn Bedding offers foam and hybrid mattresses in a range of sizes and heights for compact sleeping spaces. Start with the actual dimensions of your bed platform and the space above it, then consider your preferred feel and budget.
Consider a thinner foam option when height and maneuverability matter most; consider a hybrid if you prefer the feel of coils and have room for its profile. This buying guide draws on product information and does not claim every model has been tested in an RV.
- Best for: shoppers comparing RV-specific sizes and mattress constructions.
- Check carefully: model-specific dimensions, clearance, delivery and return terms.

Different heights can feel different even within one model. Check current materials, firmness, size availability and final price.
How to measure for an RV mattress
- Measure the platform’s width and length at several points; account for curved corners, cabinets and walls.
- Measure available height, including bedding and overhead storage or slide-out clearance.
- Check doors, stairs and turns along the route into the RV. Confirm package dimensions before ordering.
- Compare measurements with the specific model and size on the seller’s page. Check platform support and ventilation instructions.
Labels vary: the CopperFlex Essential listing shows a short queen at 60 × 74 inches. Other sellers or models may use different measurements. Never rely on the words “short queen” alone.
Trial, returns and what to check before buying
Get the return terms for your exact order in writing. RV Mattress publishes inconsistent information: its support article describes a 365-night trial, while a separate return policy page describes 120 nights and a $99 return fee. Eligibility, minimum break-in periods and fees can vary; ask the seller to confirm the terms that apply before checkout.
Check shipping to your location, delivery access, warranty requirements, foundation rules and whether specialty sizes are eligible for return. Compare the final price of the exact size, including shipping and any return costs. Other retailers may have different policies.
