Brentwood Home Oceano Review: Current Eco-Luxury Hybrid
The Brentwood Home Oceano is a 14-inch medium-soft luxury hybrid built with a Tencel-blend cover, organic wool and cotton, memory foam with BioFoam and a dense multi-zone coil system. This page is based on Yawnder's hands-on review history plus current manufacturer specifications.
Bottom line
The Oceano is still one of the more distinctive luxury hybrids in the online market. Its appeal is a plush, substantial feel with a lot of coil support underneath, plus more natural and lower-emission materials than most conventional luxury hybrids. It is best suited to side sleepers and back sleepers who like a medium-soft surface rather than a flat, firm hotel-bed feel.
What it does well
- Substantial 14-inch build with nearly 2,700 coils in larger sizes
- Medium-soft feel works well for side sleepers who want deeper cushioning
- Organic wool and cotton plus GREENGUARD Gold certification
- Strong luxury feel without traditional retail-brand pricing
- 365-day trial and 25-year warranty are unusually generous
Where it is limited
- Medium-soft feel may be too plush for strict stomach sleepers
- Heavy 14-inch construction is harder to move than a basic boxed mattress
- No current standardized Yawnder score on this page
- Luxury construction still costs more than simpler foam and hybrid options

How it feels in real life
The Oceano has always stood out for feeling more substantial than a typical compressed online mattress. The upper comfort package has noticeable give, but the coil-on-coil style support underneath keeps it from feeling like a deep foam sink. The result is a plush luxury feel with more spring and airflow than an all-foam bed.
Best sleep positions
Side sleepers: the medium-soft surface is the most natural fit, especially for people who want shoulder and hip cushioning. Back sleepers: many should like the balance of plushness and coil support. Stomach sleepers: lighter stomach sleepers may be comfortable, but people who need a very flat, firm surface should look elsewhere.
Cooling and airflow
The Oceano uses a Tencel-blend cover, wool, gel memory foam with BioFoam and a very large amount of open coil space. That construction should move heat better than a dense all-foam mattress, although we are keeping that as a construction-based observation rather than assigning a Yawnder cooling score without a current standardized test record.
Oceano unboxing
Current trial and warranty
Brentwood Home currently gives mattress buyers a full 365-day in-home trial. They require at least 30 days of adjustment before a return. Eligible mattress returns are picked up, and the current mattress warranty is 25 years.
Oceano vs Brentwood's other mattresses
The Oceano is the most traditional luxury-hybrid option in Brentwood Home's current mattress lineup. The Crystal Cove is a flippable latex/memory-foam hybrid with a more specialized feel, while the Cypress is the simpler and less expensive value line. If you want the fullest luxury build, the Oceano is the natural starting point.
