BedGear Dri-Tec sheets are a popular choice for sleepers who want to stay cool and dry at night. They are made with a lightweight, moisture-wicking fabric that is designed to absorb sweat away from the skin and disperse it evenly throughout the fabric for quick evaporation. This helps to keep you feeling comfortable and refreshed throughout the night.

Dri-Tec sheets are also very soft and breathable, making them a great choice for people with sensitive skin or allergies. They are also machine-washable and dryer-safe, making them easy to care for.

Here are some of the benefits of using BedGear Dri-Tec sheets:

  • Moisture-wicking fabric keeps you cool and dry all night long.
  • Soft and breathable fabric is gentle on sensitive skin.
  • Machine-washable and dryer-safe for easy care.
  • Available in a variety of colors and sizes to fit your needs.

If you are looking for a set of sheets that will help you stay cool and dry at night, BedGear Dri-Tec sheets are a great option to consider.

Here are some reviews from customers who have used BedGear Dri-Tec sheets:

  • “I love my Dri-Tec sheets! They keep me cool and dry all night long, even in the summer heat. I also have sensitive skin, but these sheets don’t irritate me at all. I highly recommend them!” – Sarah J.
  • “I used to wake up sweating every night, but since I switched to Dri-Tec sheets, I sleep much more comfortably. The fabric is so soft and breathable, and it really does a great job of wicking away moisture. I highly recommend these sheets to anyone who wants a cooler, more comfortable night’s sleep.” – John D.
  • “I was skeptical at first, but I’m so glad I tried Dri-Tec sheets. They are the best sheets I’ve ever owned! They keep me cool and dry all night long, and they’re so soft and comfortable. I highly recommend them to everyone!” – Susan M.

I was given a set of Bedgear Dri-Tec sheets for review this past winter. I have been using them occasionally on mattresses that I review. These sheets have a super soft, silky feel and are extremely breathable. They have the same feel as the newer athletic wear on the market. I put them in the performance sheets category.

Overview

You can purchase Bedgear sheets direct from their website at bedgear.com. They have multiple colors and sizes to choose from. And, while you’re there, check out their pillows. Bedgear has some of the most innovative pillows on the market. Bedgear continues to innovate and branch out in new directions, I expect to see more good products from them in the near future.

The Dri-Tec sheets will arrive in a box like this:

Specifications

Since this is a synthetic fabric, thread counts and weave really don’t apply here. Instead, it’s all about the feel. I have had these sheets for a few months and have washed them multiple times and they hold up very well. The advantage here is that they feel just as soft right out of the box as they will 10 washes later. With natural fibers such as cotton and especially linen, you need to wash at least 2 or 3 times before you break them in.

According to the Bedgear site, the advantages of these sheets are as follows:

DRI-TEC® 5.0 FABRIC SURFACE – Our performance material wicks away heat and moisture to help you sleep cool and dry. Reducing heat trapped next to your body creates a restful night.

AIR-X® VENTILATED PANELS – Our 3D structure keeps air flowing, moving heat away from your body while maintaining ambient temperatures.

MOTION TRANSFER REDUCTION – You won’t feel your partner turning over with our sheets as you do with stiff cotton fabric.

FEATHER-WEIGHT FEEL – Soft drape that won’t cling to your body

SECURE FIT & GRIP – The full-banded elastic Powerband® ensure a secure FIT & GRIP that holds tight on all mattress heights, with no baggy sides or bunching! Perfect for power bases!

WRINKLE & ODOR RESISTANT

EASY CARE – Machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low heat or air dry.  These sheets are quick-dry and can be used with high efficiency washers and dryers.

Here’s a video that illustrates how the sheets work:

What I especially like about these sheets is the heavy duty fitted sheet band that will prevent your sheets from coming loose on the mattress. I have an adjustable bed and having my fitted sheet come undone can be an issue if the banding is not sufficient.

The stretch you see on the sheet is the material along the side of the sheet. The top of the sheet is not as stretchy.

Here’s a close up the sheets the bottom of the photo is the air ventilated panels.

Conclusion

I thoroughly enjoy these sheets. I think people who tend to sleep hot would find them especially useful. Although I usually have cotton sheets on my mattress, in the summer months I tend to look at other materials to keep my cool and these sheets fit the bill. Year round I find that the pillow cases that come with the set are one of my favorites as they help keep my head cool on the pillow and just feel nice against your face.

Bedgear vs. Sheex

BedGear Dri-Tec sheets and Sheex sheets are both popular choices for sleepers who want to stay cool and dry at night. However, there are some key differences between the two brands.

BedGear Dri-Tec sheets are made with a lightweight, moisture-wicking polyester fabric that is designed to absorb sweat away from the skin and disperse it evenly throughout the fabric for quick evaporation. They are also very soft and breathable, making them a great choice for people with sensitive skin or allergies.

Sheex sheets are made with a proprietary fabric called “Performance Sheet Technology” that is designed to wick away moisture, regulate temperature, and prevent the growth of bacteria. They are also very soft and stretchy, making them a great choice for people who move around a lot in bed.

Here is a table comparing the two brands:

Overall, BedGear Dri-Tec sheets and Sheex sheets are both high-quality products that offer excellent cooling and moisture-wicking properties. However, BedGear Dri-Tec sheets are slightly more expensive and less stretchy than Sheex sheets.

Which brand is right for you depends on your individual needs and preferences. If you are looking for the softest, most stretchy sheets possible, Sheex sheets are a good choice. If you are looking for the most durable sheets with the best temperature regulation, BedGear Dri-Tec sheets are a good choice.

  1. Def the worst pillow I have ever gotten
I bought a back sleeper when I purchased a new mattress in Oct 2015. The demo was so comfy so I bought one. Within a month the pillow got lumpy. No matter what I did it stayed lumpy so I contacted bedgear and they offered me a replacement. Not even a month later again the pillow is lumpy. This was Def the worst purchase ever. I prefer buying $20 pillows from bed bath and beyond they have a lot more support.

    • Had my set of pillows for one year and not lumping. Found it to be much more comfy than the 2 styles of memory foam pillows I had and conventional pillows. Never have a problem with my arm falling asleep if I am side sleeping with it under the pillow. No neck issues for a full year!
