Compare Avocado models, firmness choices, certifications and delivered prices before choosing when to buy.
Avocado runs promotions, but discounts, eligible products and timing vary. Compare the exact mattress, firmness and size at checkout; no future holiday sale is guaranteed.
The Avocado sale calendar: which windows matter
Holiday periods are useful reminders to compare prices, not a confirmed schedule of Avocado promotions.
| Window | What usually happens |
|---|---|
| New Year / January | Check current offers and the exact size; clearance is not guaranteed. |
| Presidents Day (mid-February) | Compare the model and checkout total; offer terms vary. |
| Memorial Day (late May) | Check current promotion dates and eligible products. |
| Fourth of July | Check current prices; a future sale is not guaranteed. |
| Labor Day (early September) | A useful time to compare offers; the best price is not guaranteed. |
| Columbus Day / mid-October | Check current listings and exclusions. |
| Black Friday & Cyber Monday (late November) | Compare the exact model and total price; future offers may differ. |
| December / post-Christmas | Check current listings; post-holiday clearance is not guaranteed. |
How Avocado discounts, specifically
- Choose the model and firmness. The Green Mattress has several feels; a plush pillow-top changes both the construction and price.
- Check what is included. An accessory or credit only adds value if it is eligible and you actually need it.
- Compare certification scope. Avocado states its Green Mattress is GOTS certified as a finished product; component certification is a different claim. See Avocado’s product details.
- Read return terms. Trial periods, fees and final-sale exclusions vary by product and seller. Check the current direct-purchase policy and your retailer’s terms.
Choosing when to buy
There is no verified annual best window for every model. Record the delivered total for the exact Green, Eco Organic or Luxury model and firmness you want, then compare later offers.
Which Avocado configuration should you compare?
The Green Mattress offers multiple firmness choices. The plush pillow-top adds cushioning; compare it with the firmer options if you sleep on your side or prefer a softer surface. Eco Organic is a different construction, so compare model, feel and size rather than assuming an identical product at every retailer. Avocado describes its Green Mattress as GOTS certified at the finished-product level; check certification details for the exact product you are considering.
Avocado quirks worth knowing before you buy
| Factor | Why it changes the maths |
|---|---|
| Organic is the product | If you are buying Avocado for the certifications, a cheaper non-certified competitor on sale is not the same purchase. Compare like for like. |
| Choose your firmness | The Green Mattress is offered in multiple feels; compare the firmness and pillow-top configuration before comparing prices. |
| Furniture and bedding follow different cycles | Check each item’s current offer and trial terms separately. |
Compare the final price
Write down the size, model and comfort option—for example, Green Mattress with the same firmness—then compare the mattress price, any required base, delivery and removal, and the seller’s return policy. Accessories are only savings if you would buy them anyway.

50 delivery costs $2,050 before tax. Check the actual quotes and return fees; a larger advertised discount does not necessarily mean a lower total.
Trial terms: Avocado’s current direct return policy lists a one-year trial, 30-day minimum and $99 return fee for eligible Green mattresses; Eco Organic has a different trial length. Original shipping costs and other restrictions can apply. Retailer terms vary. For purchases from Yawnder, see Yawnder’s current policy for eligible mattresses, exclusions and fees.
For Black Friday in 2026, compare offers around November 27 and Cyber Monday on November 30. These are shopping dates, not a promise that any product will be discounted or that the price will be the year’s lowest.
Wait, or buy now?
- Wait if your timing is flexible and you want to compare another offer; future savings are not guaranteed.
- Buy now if your chosen configuration and delivered price meet your needs.
- Check the bundle before paying for accessories or upgrades you do not need.

How to shop any mattress sale without getting burned
- Screenshot the price before the window opens. A pre-sale increase followed by a sale price is the oldest trick in the category.
- Compare total delivered cost. Delivery, setup, old-mattress removal and bedding are where two identical discounts stop being identical.
- Read the trial and return terms separately from the deal. A great price on a bed you cannot send back is not a great deal.
- Decide the model first, the timing second. The wrong firmness at any discount costs more than the right one at full price.
- Keep the law tag and proof of purchase. Follow the applicable trial and warranty terms.

Frequently asked questions
Does Avocado ever go on sale?
Yes. Offers vary by product and date; check the current terms and the exact configuration in your cart.
When is the best time to buy an Avocado mattress?
There is no guaranteed best date for every model. Compare the same size, firmness and delivered total across offers.
What makes an organic mattress comparison useful?
Compare materials, construction and the scope of certifications. A finished-product certification and a certified component are different claims.
Are Avocado accessories discounted more than the mattresses?
Discounts and eligibility vary. Check the current terms for each item and compare the total before adding accessories.
Is an Avocado sale worth waiting for?
Wait if your timing is flexible and you want to compare a future offer; specific savings are not guaranteed.
Bottom line
Choose the mattress and feel first, then compare the same configuration and delivered total across offers. Read the seller’s trial and return terms before ordering.
