Frankly Mattress Review

The Frankly mattress is a memory foam mattress that has an easily accessible zippered cover that is removable and machine washable. It is a medium firm feel that won’t sink in too much. Frankly derives its name from the idea that a mattress price should be transparent without gimmickry. They always offer the same price without any special promo codes. They offer a 10-year warranty and a 60 night trial with free shipping and returns.

This mattress is available exclusively through the Frankly website. The company is headquartered out of Georgia and the mattress is made in China. A queen size Frankly retails for $695 which makes it more aggressively priced than a majority of the online brands.

My Frankly Mattress Findings

This mattress has a removable, washable cover. It’s easy to unzip, wash and zip back on. Here’s a close up of the zipper system. Although this is a great feature, I still recommend using a mattress protector that is waterproof to keep your mattress in pristine condition.

Overall this mattress is a medium feel. This mattress won’t cradle you as much as others because the transition layer catches you and eases you into the base layer providing proper support. Here’s a picture illustrating sinkage using my 14 lb. bowling ball.

My Frankly Mattress Recommendation

The online mattress world is becoming increasingly crowded. All these choices is a blessing and a curse. It’s great to have choice but when there are literally hundreds of choices out there, making sure you choose the right mattress can be nerve-wracking. To help you make a better decision it is always best to set a budget and narrow down what particular construction is best for you.

The Frankly mattress is best suited for budget-conscious shoppers looking for an all foam mattress. This mattress is great for isolation motion and reducing partner disturbance. Although the trial period is a bit shorter than most companies, 60 nights is still plenty of time to know if this will be right for you.

If you are turned off by the feel of a dense foam mattress but still want some of the contouring that construction provides, the Frankly mattress will be a good fit because of the dense layer of transition foam and a more breathable, responsive layer at the top.
