Ben’s original testing experience
For my original review, WinkBeds sent me a medium-firm GravityLux. I am a side sleeper and occasional stomach sleeper, and the medium was a good fit for me. Side sleepers who want more cushioning may prefer the soft version; stomach or back sleepers who like a firmer surface may prefer firm. These are starting points, not guarantees of fit.
What first struck me was the quilted foam and Tencel cover, similar in appearance to the original WinkBed. The quilted top gave the mattress a softer, more traditional feel. I placed a 14-pound bowling ball near the edge to illustrate sinkage and edge support. My original review video below shows the mattress I tested.
In my original assessment, the mattress produced very little motion transfer while offering a cushioned top. That impression reflects one sample and is not a promise that a partner’s movement will be undetectable. My observations are not a current standardized laboratory score.

Construction and materials
WinkBeds describes a Tencel cover with gel-infused foam, AirCell memory foam, Progression foam and an Atlas Core foam base. Price, trial and warranty

For eligible purchases directly from WinkBeds, the current GravityLux page describes a 365-night trial beginning on delivery, with at least 30 nights required before requesting a return or exchange. The brand describes a $49 exchange fee and limits trial eligibility by customer and shipping address. Its limited lifetime warranty covers qualifying defects under its terms. Other retailers can have different policies; confirm your order’s conditions before purchasing.
Motion, edge support and temperature
Motion: Foam can absorb movement, and Ben observed little motion transfer in the original sample. A partner’s weight and movement can still be noticeable.
Edge: Ben used a bowling ball near the edge in his original demonstration. Sitting and lying near the edge can feel different, so test both if edge stability matters to you.
Temperature: The brand describes cooling-oriented materials, but we cannot promise a particular overnight temperature. Room temperature, bedding, body heat and how deeply you sink into the mattress all affect comfort.
Durability: A limited warranty addresses covered defects, not a guaranteed lifespan or every change in comfort. Keep the receipt and follow the foundation requirements.
