Do you think this is a quality mattress that will hold up for 10 years? It seems similar to the Tuft & Needle with 3″ of top foams and a 7″ base foam on the med-firm, but the T&N is much less expensive. Just wondering about the value/durability of this mattress.
Also, I’m considering The Big Fig. I’m not plus size, but it seems to be a mattress that will last. My concern is that it might be too firm. I’m 5’6″ 180 lb stomach sleeper. You’ve tested it, so I would love to hear your thoughts on this, and any other recommendations you might have for me (no memory foam though — too hot and mid section sinks in too much).

The Big Fig will be much firmer than the Pacific. I think you can expect about 7-8 years out of a memory foam mattress. The Big Fig will probably last longer because of the heavy duty construction but if you don’t like how it feels at the start, it’s not worth it.
