Human Touch vs. Osaki – Which is Best?

osaki massage chair

If you’re on the hunt for the ultimate massage chair, chances are you’ve come across Human Touch and Osaki—two of the biggest names in the game. Both brands promise to melt away stress, ease those nagging aches, and make you feel like royalty in your own home. But which one actually delivers the best bang for your buck?

Let’s break it down: the most popular Human Touch models, how they stack up against Osaki, and why Osaki might just be the better choice for serious massage lovers.

Human Touch Massage Chairs: High-Tech Meets Luxury

Human Touch has been around for over 40 years, perfecting the art of relaxation. Their chairs don’t just feel amazing—they also look sleek and stylish, often blending seamlessly into modern home decor. But how do they perform?

Most Popular Human Touch Models

  • Super Novo – This is Human Touch’s flagship beast, packed with 4D massage rollers, Alexa voice control, dual lumbar heat, and zero-gravity reclining. If you want a high-end massage chair that can practically read your mind, this is it. Expect to pay around $10,000 for the privilege.

  • Novo XT – A slightly toned-down (and more affordable) version of the Super Novo, but still packed with 35 auto-wellness programs and an L-track system that works your spine, glutes, and hamstrings.

  • Sana – A solid mid-range option that delivers a deep, invigorating massage without the sky-high price tag. Perfect for post-workout recovery.

  • ZeroG 5.0 – If you love zero-gravity recliners, this one adds massage capabilities with calf and foot rollers for a soothing leg treatment. Great for those who want something compact but effective.

  • Gravis ZG – This one is all about heat therapy and ultimate comfort. It’s more of a luxury recliner that happens to give you a solid massage—ideal for home or office use.

What Human Touch Does Well

✔️ Super smooth massage technology – Their FlexGlide® system avoids that awkward “pinching” feeling some chairs give you.
✔️ Beautiful design – Many models don’t look like typical massage chairs, making them great for home decor.
✔️ Excellent build quality – Durable, well-engineered, and backed by solid warranties.
✔️ Therapeutic benefits – Recommended by chiropractors, with warming heat zones and CirQlation® calf massage for better blood flow.

Where Human Touch Falls Short

Fewer customization options – Some models lack body scanning or intensity adjustments, meaning they might not fit your exact needs.
Pricier than competitors – You might be paying more for the aesthetics rather than cutting-edge tech.
Limited programs – While their chairs feel amazing, they sometimes lack variety in massage styles.

Osaki Massage Chairs: Feature-Packed and Wallet-Friendly

Osaki has been making serious waves in the massage chair world by delivering high-tech features at unbeatable prices. While they may not have Human Touch’s design elegance, they pack in more massage power for less money.

Why Osaki Stands Out

  • Super feature-packed – Even their budget-friendly models come with body scanning, foot rollers, Bluetooth speakers, and air compression massage.
  • More intensity options – Many Osaki chairs let you adjust massage strength, so whether you want a gentle rub or deep tissue work, you’re covered.
  • Better value for the price – You’ll find more 4D roller systems, heated airbags, and customized programs at lower price points compared to Human Touch.
  • Tons of variety – They have way more models than Human Touch, so you can find something tailored to your body type, massage preference, and budget.

Where Osaki Wins Over Human Touch

💰 More features for less money – You can get a fully-loaded 3D/4D massage chair for half the price of a comparable Human Touch model.
🦵 More customization – Adjustable massage intensity, zero-gravity recline settings, and multiple massage techniques.
🤖 Better technologyAI voice control, touchscreen remotes, and even health sensors on some models.
👣 Superior foot massage – Osaki’s foot rollers are next-level, providing deep relief that Human Touch sometimes lacks.

Where Osaki Could Improve

⚠️ Not as “pretty” – Some models look bulky and tech-heavy, which might not blend well into a stylish home.
⚠️ Customer service varies – While they offer great warranties, support experiences can depend on where you buy.
⚠️ Can be more intense than expected – If you prefer a gentler massage, you may need to adjust the intensity settings.

Human Touch vs. Osaki: Price Comparison

FeatureHuman Touch (Avg. Price)Osaki (Avg. Price)
Entry-Level Chairs$1,500 – $3,500$1,999 – $3,500
Mid-Range Chairs$3,500 – $7,500$3,000 – $6,500
High-End Chairs$7,500 – $10,000+$6,500 – $9,500

🔹 Bottom line? Osaki usually packs in more technology for the price, while Human Touch focuses more on design, comfort, and long-term durability.

Final Verdict: Which One Should You Buy?

Go with Human Touch if…

✅ You want a massage chair that doubles as stylish furniture.
✅ You prefer a super smooth, human-like massage over intense deep tissue.
✅ You value top-notch build quality and long warranties.
✅ You don’t need a million features—just an effective, relaxing massage.

Go with Osaki if…

✅ You want the most high-tech features for your money.
✅ You love intense, deep tissue massages with full-body coverage.
✅ You want body scanning and precise customization.
✅ You’re looking for the best overall value without sacrificing quality.

The Winner?

🎉 If you want luxury, comfort, and a refined massage experience, Human Touch wins.
🎉 If you want maximum features, deep tissue intensity, and better value, Osaki takes the crown.

At the end of the day, both brands are fantastic—but if you want more bang for your buck, Osaki is hard to beat. Ready to kick back and relax? The perfect massage chair is waiting for you. 🚀

Individual Model Reviews

Osaki Ziva — Compact Essentials

If you want relief without the footprint or the price tag, Ziva delivers core knead, tap and rolling in a space-saver frame. Great for apartments or offices where a full-size shell would dominate the room. Expect simpler controls and fewer presets, but solid daily stress relief.

Osaki EPI — Everyday Workhorse

EPI steps up with body scanning and a wider preset range. The scan maps your shoulders and spine so the rollers track where you actually carry tension. More airbags around the arms and calves provide fuller coverage. It is the sensible “buy once, use daily” sweet spot.

Osaki Yoga Flex — Mobility Boost

Yoga Flex focuses on decompression and flexibility. The stretch and inversion-style programs gently lengthen the spine and open hips. If you cycle, lift, or sit long hours, these routines feel like a guided stretch session that resets posture and range of motion.

Osaki Manhattan — Design-Forward Luxury

Manhattan blends into modern décor with cleaner lines and upgraded upholstery. Under the hood, you get richer manual controls to set roller depth, tempo, and region. For buyers who refuse to trade aesthetics for function, this is the pick.

Osaki Apex Duo — Two Experiences in One

With dual-track rollers, Apex Duo can dig in for deep tissue then switch to a smoother glide path that calms the nervous system. It is ideal for households with mixed preferences or for athletes who want intensity post-workout and relaxation in the evening.

Osaki Duomax SE — Flagship, Full Stop

Duomax SE layers AI scanning, heated rollers, and multi-mode zero gravity for a spa-level experience at home. The per-zone control lets you dial in shoulders vs lumbar vs calves precisely. If you want “best of the brand,” this is it.

Technology That Matters

  • Body Scanning maps shoulder height and back curvature for accurate roller placement.
  • S/L-Track Rollers follow the spine then wrap under the seat to address glutes and hamstrings.
  • Air Compression in shoulders, arms, calves and feet improves circulation and complements roller work.
  • Zero Gravity reduces spinal load and deepens pressure without cranking intensity.
  • Heated Rollers add therapeutic warmth for stubborn knots.
  • Stretch Programs simulate assisted yoga to restore posture and mobility.

Pros & Considerations

What We Like
  • Clear ladder of features from $1,700 to flagship — easy to match budget and needs.
  • Consistent 3-year warranty across the line.
  • Standout programs: Yoga Flex stretch and Apex Duo dual-track versatility.
  • Design-forward option in Manhattan that complements modern spaces.
Keep In Mind
  • Entry models are intentionally simple; power users should look EPI and up.
  • Premium shells require floor space and thoughtful placement.
  • Delivery and assembly can be a two-person job due to weight.

Which Osaki Chair Should You Buy?

  • Budget stress relief: Ziva.
  • All-around daily use: EPI.
  • Mobility & recovery: Yoga Flex.
  • Design-first luxury: Manhattan.
  • Intensity + relaxation in one chair: Apex Duo.
  • Flagship everything: Duomax SE.

Final Verdict

Osaki’s 2025 catalog makes it simple: start with Ziva for compact relief, step to EPI for daily therapy, pick Yoga Flex for stretch, choose Manhattan for design, go Apex Duo for dual-track versatility, and crown it with Duomax SE if you want the most advanced experience available.

Bottom line: reliable warranty, clear feature tiers, and options that fit real living spaces. That is why Osaki stays on our shortlist for home massage in 2025.

Understanding the Ceragem V6: A Deep Dive into Its Functionality

In the realm of therapeutic massage devices, the Ceragem V6 has emerged as a paragon of innovation, blending traditional healing methods with state-of-the-art technology. But what lies beneath its sleek exterior, and how does it deliver on its promise of a tailored spinal health experience? Let’s delve into the mechanics and science behind this groundbreaking device.

1. Intelligent Spine Scanning Technology

Central to the Ceragem V6’s efficacy is its spine scanning technology. Before initiating any massage session, the device conducts a thorough scan of the user’s spine. Using precision sensors, it detects the unique curvature and nuances of the individual’s spinal structure. This data is then used to customize the subsequent massage, ensuring that pressure and movement are applied in a manner that’s most beneficial to the user.

2. Far Infrared Rays (FIR) and Jade Integration

The Ceragem V6 doesn’t just rely on mechanical pressure to deliver its therapeutic benefits. It incorporates the healing properties of far infrared rays (FIR) and jade. FIR, a segment of the natural light spectrum, is known for its deep penetrating heat. When emitted by the Ceragem V6, these rays penetrate deep into the body, enhancing blood circulation and aiding in the relief of pain and tension.

Jade, a natural stone long revered in various cultures for its healing properties, is used in the device’s rollers. As these jade rollers move along the spine, they not only provide a consistent and soothing pressure but also emit FIR, amplifying the therapeutic effects.

3. Customizable Intensity and Modes

Recognizing that every individual’s therapeutic needs and comfort levels vary, the Ceragem V6 is equipped with multiple intensity levels and modes. Users can choose from gentle relaxation sessions to more intense therapeutic experiences, allowing for a highly personalized approach to spinal health.

4. Ergonomic Design

Beyond its technological prowess, the Ceragem V6’s design plays a crucial role in its functionality. Its ergonomic structure ensures that users, regardless of their body type, can lie down comfortably. This design ensures that the spine is correctly aligned and positioned to receive maximum benefits from the massage.

5. User Interface

The Ceragem V6’s user interface is a testament to its commitment to user-centric design. The accompanying remote control is intuitive, with clearly labeled buttons and settings. This ensures that users can easily navigate through the device’s features, making the most of their therapeutic sessions.

Is Infrared Heat Massage Legit?

Infrared Massage Therapy: Beyond the Hype

In the vast landscape of therapeutic modalities, infrared massage therapy has emerged as a topic of both intrigue and skepticism. With claims ranging from pain relief to enhanced circulation, it’s essential to sift through the noise and determine the legitimacy of this increasingly popular treatment. Here’s our authoritative take on infrared massage therapy.

The Science Behind Infrared

Infrared is a segment of the natural light spectrum, just beyond the visibility of the human eye. It’s categorized into three types based on wavelengths: near-infrared (NIR), mid-infrared (MIR), and far-infrared (FIR). Of these, FIR has gained significant attention in therapeutic contexts.

When FIR is emitted, it produces a form of radiant heat that can penetrate deep into the body’s tissues. This deep penetration is believed to enhance blood circulation, thereby delivering more oxygen and nutrients to muscle tissues and aiding in the removal of cellular waste.

Clinical Findings and Applications

Several studies have delved into the potential benefits of infrared therapy:

  1. Pain Relief: A study published in the journal Pain Research and Management found that FIR therapy could reduce chronic pain. Participants who underwent FIR therapy reported a significant decrease in pain levels compared to those who did not receive the treatment.

  2. Improved Circulation: Enhanced blood flow is one of the most frequently cited benefits of infrared therapy. By dilating blood vessels and capillaries, FIR can potentially improve circulation, aiding in muscle recovery and the removal of toxins.

  3. Wound Healing: Some research suggests that infrared therapy might accelerate the wound healing process. The increased circulation and oxygenation of the tissue can potentially aid in faster cell regeneration.

  4. Relaxation and Stress Reduction: The warmth generated by FIR can induce relaxation, much like the sensation one feels under the sun on a cold day. This can lead to reduced muscle tension and stress.

Skepticism and Considerations

While there’s a growing body of research supporting the benefits of infrared therapy, skepticism remains in some quarters. Critics argue that more extensive, long-term studies are needed to conclusively establish the therapy’s efficacy.

Additionally, while many users report positive outcomes, infrared therapy is not a one-size-fits-all solution. Individual experiences can vary, and what works for one person might not necessarily work for another.

Osaki OS-Pro Maestro LE Massage Chair Review

Osaki Massage Chair Review

The Osaki OS-Pro Maestro LE is one of my favorite massage chairs. It has a sleek modern look with an upgraded touchscreen and great Bluetooth speakers for the ultimate in relaxation. I have been focusing on massage chairs more recently because after trying one, I am convinced they will lead to a healthier lifestyle. Yes, they can be expensive but pay for themselves over time versus constantly paying for and going to a massage therapist with inconsistent results. I have been reading up on other Osaki massage chair reviews and after my research I wanted to try one myself to see if it was the real deal.

Overview of the Osaki Massage Chair

Ordering the Osaki OS-Pro Maestro LE

Yawnder is now an authorized Osaki dealer. You can order the OS-Pro Maestro LE directly through our site. We offer the best price and free white glove delivery. You will definitely want white glove delivery for this item.

As the picture shows, this is a very large and heavy package. I chose to assemble it myself to test the process. The chair arrives in three boxes. The main chair body is in the largest bottom box.

If you skip white glove delivery, it arrives on a pallet via freight. You must move each box into your house yourself. Even with a dolly, it is a difficult task without help.

Osaki Massage Chair Delivery

I suggest opening the biggest box first. Remove all the packaging to clear your workspace. There is a lot of material to protect the chair during shipping. Keeping the area clean helps you avoid losing small parts.

Osaki Massage Chair Box

The smaller boxes hold the arms, covers, and electronics. You will also find the instruction manual here. Osaki packs the manual in a high-quality box similar to an iPad box.

Osaki Manual

Read the manual before you start. Lay out all the pieces clearly. The setup instructions were missing a few details, but the process is mostly simple. I recommend having two people for assembly. Parts like the leg extension are heavy and hard to attach alone.

osaki manual 2

Here is the main chair body out of the box. At this stage, the arms and legs are not yet attached.

Osaki Chair Out of Box

Attaching the leg rest was the hardest part. It is heavy and must align perfectly with the main unit. Once the legs are on, the rest of the work is easy.

osaki connections

Osaki includes great details. For example, logos light up and project onto the floor when the chair starts.

osaki lights

The hand massage slots have small bumps. These feel excellent during your massage.

My Osaki OS-Pro Maestro LE Recommendation

This is the third massage chair I have used regularly. It is the most advanced and has the most features. I have owned it for 5 months and I am still finding new ways to adjust it.

One downside is the foot massager. It feels small for my size 13 feet. If you are tall or have large feet, look at the Osaki Highpointe. It costs more but has an open foot design that is much better for large feet.

Compared to the X77 from XChair, the Osaki is more intense. It has more programs and a better touchscreen. Both offer heat and zero gravity, but the Osaki feels more powerful.

The quality is excellent. Costco sells a version for $6,899, but it uses an old remote. The Yawnder San Diego store sells the updated LE model with the touchpad. We offer a great price and a 30-day trial. Email sales@sleepsherpa.com for a quote.
