As I said in the video, don’t be fooled by the thread count. Pure Parima uses a single ply yarn. Most sheets above 400 are either using double ply yarn where they twist two threads together or using pick insertions in the loom which are loose threads that can be prone to pilling.

How Do Pure Parima Sheets Feel?
So, how do these sheets feel? It’s hard to convey this in a picture but they are a sateen weave so very smooth and buttery feeling. Right out of the box they have a shine to them. Here’s a closeup but my camera had a hard time getting some of the stitching detail. This is a testament to the tightness of the weave. You would be hard pressed to tell the difference between these sheets and bamboo sheets. While bamboo has a silky feel, they aren’t nealy as good as Egyptian Cotton sheets.
These sheets will accommodate a mattress up to 18 inches deep. Here’s a picture of the drop on the fitted sheet. After washing these sheets there is some slight shrinkage so if you do have a mattress that is 18 inches deep it may be a little tight but most people don’t have mattresses over 15 inches deep.
