On one side, you’ll find a .75 quilted top layer characterized by elegant continuous stitching, ensuring an ultra-firm sleeping experience. This side is perfect for those who crave unyielding support, facilitating a restful night’s sleep that keeps your spine in a neutral alignment.
If you prefer a slightly softer feel without compromising on support, simply flip the mattress over. This side includes a 1.5” quilted top layer featuring tack-and-jump stitching, paired with a 2” TitanFlex™ comfort layer underneath. This combination delivers a traditional firm experience, providing reassuring support while still accommodating your body’s contours.
Who should consider a very firm mattress?
Consider the Plank Firm if you prefer a flat, firm surface with limited sink. Back and stomach sleepers who like firm cushioning may want to compare its two sides. Side sleepers seeking substantial shoulder and hip cushioning should compare a softer option before choosing.
Firmness preference and body weight affect comfort. A very firm mattress does not guarantee pain relief, better circulation or improved breathing.

Yawnder mattress trial: Eligible mattresses purchased from Yawnder have a 100-night trial with a required 30-night minimum. Returns carry a $200 fee per mattress, waived for an exchange to another store mattress; price differences apply. One trial return or exchange is allowed per customer and household.
