Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the memory foam model and the hybrid model?
The All-Foam model uses a high-density foam base, resulting in better motion isolation and a "dead" feel with less bounce. The Hybrid model replaces that base foam with 8-inch individually encased Ascension® coils, which provides greater airflow, stronger edge support, and a more responsive, bouncy feel.
What are the benefits of CopperFlex® Memory Foam?
CopperFlex® foam is infused with copper beads. This offers two key benefits: Thermal Conductivity (drawing heat away from the body) and Antimicrobial protection (killing bacteria and keeping the mattress fresh).
What is the height of the CopperFlex®?
The CopperFlex® mattress has a standard profile height of 12 inches.
How much weight will the mattress support?
The Hybrid model is more robust, typically supporting up to 950 lbs total. The All-Foam model is best suited for sleepers weighing up to 250 lbs per person.
How much does the mattress weigh and what are its dimensions?
Standard dimensions apply (Queen: 60"x80", King: 76"x80"). The weight varies by model: A Queen Foam model weighs approx 70 lbs, while a Queen Hybrid weighs approx 90-100 lbs due to the steel coils.
What type of foundation works best for this mattress?
Because it is a foam/hybrid bed, it requires a rigid support system. This includes platform beds, slatted frames (slats < 4 inches apart), or adjustable bases. Do not use an old-school flexible box spring.
Are your mattresses flippable?
No. The CopperFlex® is designed to be single-sided, with specific comfort layers on top and support layers on the bottom. Do not flip it, but you should rotate it 180 degrees every 6 months.
How does the 120-night trial period work?
You have 120 nights to test the mattress. You are required to sleep on it for at least 30 days to allow the materials to break in. After 30 days, if you are unhappy, you can initiate a return for a refund (minus a $200 return shipping/processing fee).
Where is this product made?
The CopperFlex® is custom-made to order in Brooklyn Bedding's own factory in Arizona, USA.
What is the warranty coverage?
The CopperFlex comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. This covers manufacturing defects, such as foam sagging greater than 1.5 inches or flaws in the cover zipper assembly.
The CopperFlex offers a unique blend of cooling technology and zoned support at a value price point. Whether you choose the foam for isolation or the hybrid for support, it's a solid investment for your sleep health.
