  2. This is such an informative site. My wife and I recently went into a Sleepy’s and we really liked the SIMMONS BEAUTYREST LEGEND LUXURY PLUSH SUPER PILLOW TOP MATTRESS Product code SI3198, but hated the high-pressure sales and high cost.

    My wife suggested the SAATVA which seemed terrific until I read your reviews, so now I’m leaning towards WinkBeds. Since you are so knowledgeable, how do they compare to the Simmons BR?

    • I really like WinkBeds. They are well constructed mattresses. It will feel firmer than the Simmons model you reference but I find it to be a good balance of softness and support.

  3. Your site is a great resource! What is your take on the wink bed vs the nest alexander? I’ve always had a coil bed, so i’m hesitant to purchase a foam only bed, even thought your review of the nest bed is slightly better. I’m a side/back sleeper. I also have a history of sleeplessness/light sleeper.

    • They’re both great mattresses. If you have never slept on memory foam, I highly recommend it. I would give the Alexander from Nest a try, a medium firm would probably be the best firmness for you. I think you will be impressed.

    • I took the coupon code off the site as Parachute is no longer offering coupon codes. Many of the coupon sites were using my code which became a problem. Instead they are already discounted.

  7. Love your site. I was wondering what is your take on the best bed for us. My husband is a side and stomach sleeper and I’m all over the place and often wake up with shoulder soreness. (FYI- I’m currently pregnant with twins and need a good night sleep). He loves a soft bed and I love a med firm bed for my back. We were looking at the luxi, the Leesa, the purple and the Alexander cal king. Your feedback would be so helpful.

    • Since you both seem to have different firmness preferences and different sleep styles, I think you should consider the Luxi. Each side can be configured for firmness. Another option would be the Helix that also allows you configure both sides.

  8. Thanks for reviewing the Aviya bed, there are not many inner spring bed reviews out there. I am leaning towards going with the Aviya, but how is yours holding up? Do you recommend it over the Leesa (yes, I realize they’re two completely different bed types)? Pardon me, I’ve never had a foam bed before, so this is all new to me.

    • I haven’t tested the Aviya long term but I did give it to a friend who has had it for a few months now and still really likes it. It is a different feel than the Leesa, not as conforming but the advantage is that it has bounce and doesn’t leave any impressions.

    Recently discovered your site and have been using it to purchase bedding for our new home. We’re looking to purchase all white bedding linens for the master bedroom and are looking for something luxurious, soft and with a hotel look. I’m okay with spending a decent amount since we’re hoping it will last us a while. I’ve looked at the Brooklinen collection which is great for sheeting, but too simple for duvet, euro shams, etc. Any suggestions on other brands?

    • Leesa would be a good choice for an RV. Just note that RV mattress specs can differ from normal mattress sizes.
