Our Findings:

Having had back surgery 20 years ago, I find that I relax and sleep better after a massage. I have had the Comfort Products Massage Mat for about 4 months now. I use it every night. The massage mat can be used flat on a bed or in a chair. I prefer to use it in a recliner chair. Once started, the massage lasts about 30 minutes and then automatically shuts off. You can select the massage pattern, intensity and also set it to apply heat to the lumbar area. The mat has 10 motorized massage areas. This mat is not designed to give you a deep tissue shiatsu type massage. Instead, the mat gives you a tension reducing and relaxing vibrating massage.

The motors and massage zones are comfortable enough to fall asleep on, which is what I normally do when I use the mat. The mat cover is nice and soft. But it is not removable to wash, so you should always use a sheet or towel between your body and mat to keep the mat clean. In operation, the motors are not excessively loud and we have found it does not disturb others nor interfere with other activities such as watching TV.
