ANSSil Smart Mattress Review: String-Based Support & Smart Features Restored
The ANSSil page had been reduced to a stub even though the older article explained the mattress’s unusual 3D-string support system and adjustable smart features.
3D string construction
Instead of a conventional foam core or metal spring unit, ANSSil’s design used a network of tensioned polymer strings. The goal was to create an open, highly ventilated support surface that could be adjusted by changing string tension.
Adjustable firmness
The older page described zone-by-zone firmness control through an app/controller. That made the mattress fundamentally different from ordinary fixed-firmness beds because support could be tuned without swapping foam layers.
Sensors and sleep data
Some ANSSil models incorporated sensors and software for sleep-position and pressure information. Those features are best understood as sleep-tech conveniences rather than medical diagnostics.
Why the design is interesting
The most valuable part of the original article was the engineering concept: a mattress using an open string lattice as both support and airflow system, with electronics layered on top for adjustability.
