Our renewable and sustainable bedding delivers a luxurious finish and a breathable membrane. It also wicks away moisture better than any synthetic material. Our Organic Cotton Sheets use GOTS-certified organic cotton. It’s not just a higher-functioning material. Conventional cotton is a polluted crop. And organic cotton is held to a stricter standard. The beauty of our Organic Cotton Sheets is in their sateen finish — a tight weave that makes the sheets feel silky and soft to the touch. Sateen adds a lustrous sheen to the sheets, adding a luxurious, cozy feel to the organic materials.
MORE THREADS, MORE COMFORT
The “thread count” is the number of threads woven together in one square inch of fabric. These numbers are often inflated — most sheets are multi-ply, which means threads are layered and twisted to gain a higher count for marketing purposes, while compromising the sheet’s quality. Our Organic Cotton Sheets are a true 400 or 600 thread count single-ply made of extra long staple organic cotton, so they are finer and softer.
RESPONSIBLY MADE
Made with a manufacturing process that reduces water and electricity consumption, our Organic Cotton Sheets are pre-washed and processed to maintain a neutral pH level providing a safe touch to the skin. We’ve also worked to reduce the amount of wasted fabric during production. The effort is part of the broader environmental mission, like our Farm to Mattress concept, that drives Avocado.
TRANSPARENCY & PROVENANCE
Our cotton is purchased directly from family growers to ensure traceability. We believe in getting to know the farmers and experiencing the farms where the cotton is grown. Each bale of cotton arrives at our cotton mill for processing with a unique number, allowing complete traceability from the farm to the final production process. This process uses the latest technology to create the world’s most efficient, productive cotton spinning system — essential to producing the finest quality yarns.
NATURALLY NON-TOXIC
Sleep with complete peace of mind knowing our sheets are certified MADE SAFE® standards — a rigorous scientific screening process for chemicals known or suspected to harm human health, animals, aquatic life, or ecosystems. The certification screens for more than 6,500 harmful substances, including banned substances, toxic chemicals, pesticides, and dyes.

Made in India with GOTS-certified organic cotton. Our organic cotton is grown without chemical pesticides or fertilizers. Available in a single-ply 400 or 600 threads per inch (TPI). GOTS Certified Organic by Control Union for all materials and the finished product. Certified to MADE SAFE® standards.
- WHAT’S INCLUDED:
The sheet set includes 1 Flat Sheet, 1 Fitted Sheet, 2 Pillowcases. Twin and Twin XL sheet sets come with 1 Pillowcase. Standard pillowcases fit all sizes except Kings. King pillowcases are included with King and California King sets. The pocket accommodates all Avocado mattresses and fits up to 16″ in depth.
- SINGLE-PLY YARNS
A high thread count does not translate to a better quality sheet for standard cotton or even most other long staple cotton. Using single-ply yarns, most cottons achieve a maximum thread count of around 400-500. After that, multi-ply yarn must be used, which indicates a lower quality cotton that needs multiple plies woven together for strength. No multi-ply yarn is used in our organic cotton sheets.
- CARE
Wash with like colors in warm water. Use mild natural liquid detergent. Do not use fabric softeners, bleach, or whiteners. Line dry or tumble dry low and remove promptly. Fabric softeners and dryer sheets reduce the absorbency of cotton textiles and are not recommended. As a natural alternative use wool dryer balls. Iron hot or steam as needed.
